Is it easier to sell a foreign rider, to any company ref sponsorship, based on the foreigner will have a seemingly more glamorous name, and the promoter will base his sale on the unknownness of a foreigner.. Sell Danish Antonio Caskerino Just seems to have more mystery, adventure, exciting name than John Smith from Slough!!!

The youngsters doing 3 leagues, also have 3 times larger risk of getting injured... Probably whilst riding in the lower leagues... Just saying.. -
We obtained some clean odourless clay, in fact a huge amount!! We also obtained a similar amount of red stone, and mixed it ourselves.......

Season Preview 2017

I would be so bold, and say teams like Poole will already have plans in place for replacing faltering riders in the run-up to the first set of greens... Riders who he wants #1 first-in, and probably a #2 second-in if #1 fails to be doable.... Probably a set of outs/ins for every rider in the team... Good planning, or ruthless?? I am not a Poole Pirates Fan, but you have to admire their business sense and tenacity....... Mostly! -

Some would buy both, and keep the souvenir programme in Mint condition, and insert the completed racecard, for posterity.. Or fill in the basic racecard, then copy the results into the souvenir programme at home, minus any errors, so do have a couple of secondary uses... -

Having seen Nikolai Klindt a lot over the past couple of seasons, he can be a match winner from reserve, but, if he has 2, to 3 shockers, then he himself could be a liability... Poole then dump him, and he signs for say Leicester, and comes good again... Or similar scenario, with any other PL team... -
You have rain for around another 90 minutes, should then clear from your north west....

Perhaps promotions ought to also supply as an alternative, a simple A4 racecard, with just basic content. Team's, Meeting Races, Track Details, Track Record... Charge a nominal fee of 20p.... I think filling in a Racecard is an integral part of the enjoyment for a good percentage of attending fans... The full souvenir programmes are more suited to the full time followers.... If a hundred buy the simple racecard, as apposed to buying nothing, that's better than losing revenue of 100 x 20p who buy nowt.. Just my opinion.. -
Perhaps they are not ambitious enough.. Many turn up with good equipment, latest covers, multiple helmets in Red, Blue, White and Yellow/Black and fully sign written vans! This league has morphed into something it was not designed for, career riders at there comfortable level... This league needs better controls, age, years in speedway, etc... If they don't want to push on, or can't push on any further, then they need to Drop to amateur level, and let some other youngsters in, that perhaps can't get in due to the league being clogged up/bottle necked with these stagnated, reached their potential riders...

That's a good sign!! As long as fans already in, don't lose their patience..... Weather shouldn't be a problem.. -
I agree with the points relating to no GP riders for 2018, but I hate the idea of a single big league, this really knocks out any professional element that's left in UK Speedway.. We need a division 1 and 2, because this give the team's something to ride for.. Otherwise teams have nothing to aspire to or defend against, meetings would lose the competitive edge, as racing would have nothing riding on it, other than finishing top.. With 2 leagues, team's aspire to win the best league in the country, and team's fight to stay in the top division, other teams will battle against relegation, likewise division 2 teams want to compete in the top league, and will fight to do this.. One big league has been tried before, it didn't work then, and it won't work now.. Edited because my phone thinks it knows what I want to write, and it doesn't!!!!!!!

That may well be ok, I was told if you run a vehicle on synthetic oil, you shouldn't then change to a non-synthetic oil, and vica-versa. I guess if you stick with semi-syhthetic, that's probably ok also....

I was told once, a few years ago that if you buy a vehicle from new, you should always stick to the same oil.. I mean natural oil or synthetic oil, anyone else subjected to this info, be it true, or snake oil??

I think the phrase "Flat Track" is referring to the motorcycle discipline, rather than the track surface being flat....

Ok folks, here is a list of changes I'm aware of, I say 20 yrs, some may be a bit older. Was wondering what the benefits of these changes are/were? Also, some were forced changes to comply with environmental/noise pollution rules, what additional problems these changes caused.. Also, feel free to add any other changes I may have missed..... So, here we go... ⊙ Leading Link Forks ⊙ Handlebars (now symmetric) ⊙ Offset Cranks ⊙ Recycled Oil, Not total loss ⊙ Quieter Silencers ⊙ Silencer expansion chambers
