If that's the case, then NKI picks up a 28 day ban, surely??
-
Ok, so we are taking on Mars in the first Intergalactic Speedway Test Match.. It's being played out on the new circuit, which is situated on the Moon.. The track offers A pretty much even race track, there's something on it for gaters, outside line blasts and kerb crawelers.. Who would be in your Earths teams 1 to 7 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7)

BUT Poland and Sweden are now running multi-nights now, so why now should we kowtow to a single night?? -

With NKI not being available for tonight, and the German being banned, I really can't fathom what you could have done/contrived/manipulated team wise.... A lot of critics tonight over the KL team, but what else could have been done without NKI copping a 28 day ban......? -

If Woffinden has 2 to 3 poor meetings, is it possible he could ride himself into a reserve slot for the play-offs?? -
Could Tai represent Wolverhampton at the ELRC?

TAI(L) WAGGING THE DOG OR WOLF!!!!!

Yup, he should have known as well!!! (The rider) The ref certainly knew..... Do you reckon Rob Lyon tried to pull a fast one? Hoping the ref wouldn't know (perhaps nothing could have been done) so went for it with Kai, just in case the ref didn't know.........

Is that the biggest BEL winning score this year? -
Surely Rob Lyon would have known about the weeks ban from the German governing body?? Crikey!!

I don't think you have grasped what I mean, that might be my fault, so here is what I mean... The base of the air fence, currently has nothing in it, it's held in place by hooks onto the mesh fence or similar, what I mean is in the base of the air fence, have a layer of wet sand, that will hold the fence down, not lock it to the track, but enough to make the resistance path up and into the meat of the air fence, not under it....

That crash is on one of the "crashes and cock ups" tapes that I have.... Colin Cook was an absolute racer, never gave in, and flourished at Leicester, I used to follow him up the A47 after meetings most Tuesdays when I lived in the posh end of Leicester!! He was also a rider I could talk to eye to eye as I am vertically challenged as well!! He was always a crowd pleaser, in a time when speedway in the UK had a proper season, mid March to the end of October....

If a top GP rider can at the end of the Polish/Swedish leagues that haven't made Their respective play-offs, sign for an BEL club for the play-offs, then yes, we do need a rule to stop that route to strengthening up for the play-offs... A transfer window mid season could be implemented that would allow teams to strengthen up, however, I would also allow special dispensation for a club to bring in riders outside the window to replace injured riders.... -
If he signs for an EL club for the play-offs, it will be a prime case of "THE TAI(L) WAGGING THE DOG" or the WOLF.

Qualifying? Simply introduce a qualifying criteria for racing in the play-offs.... All riders that race in the play-offs, MUST have raced in a minimum of 7 (that's 25%) of the Elite League meetings in that season. (Can have ridden for more than a single team) And not be cup tied in that season. So, come play-offs, if he'd have ridden 3 meetings for Leicester, 2 for Coventry and 2 for Swindon, he could sign, and ride in the play-offs for any of the other qualified clubs. -
Not sure, in fact I'm pretty positive water in the base wouldn't work, but I bet wet sand would help? Does anyone think that the panel lifting is only a problem when you have concrete/solid boards behind the fence panels.....? I'm not 100% this is the case, but I'm sure the problem is worse where this sort of fence set-up is in situ...
-
That shouldn't happen!!! The fence panel lifted violently, and Bomber vanished under it! If nobody had seen him go under it, you wouldn't have known the crash had happened! The panels should be held down at the back with eyes that are captured by a shepherds crook, and locked into the mesh fence or an metal eye that's counter sunk into the concrete, or buy the aforementioned shepherds crook through a hole in the wooden boards, no way should that panel have bounced up the way it did...... There should/needs to be an extra layer of protection at the base of the panels (between the bottom of the air fence and track surface) but their isn't.. I suggest a wedge, made out of some sort of semi-rigid foam, with the pointy edge of the wedge against whatever the panel is in front of, the rubber kickboards would then rest on that. The rubber kickboards could also be made a bit wider, so they lay on top of the shale a bit deeper into the track. In my opinion....

A agree about airfences lifting, if they are attached properly, checked thoroughly after (any) impact lifting should not be the problem it can be... Even a slight impact can break the grip on the heavy duty velcro fastenings, plastic buckles snap (weakened) by constant exposure to the sun maybe, poorly fitted rubber kickboards, rear hooks jolting out, top hooks breaking/moving, shale getting compacted under the rubber kickboards, the number of parts that can be damaged, loosened off, incorrectly fitted, checked, poorly repaired.. is quite high, and, its a big and, after an impact, the airfence panels need checking each side of the impact up to at least 4, maybe 5 panels each side of the impact....!!! Also, blower fittings, and air fence air pipes (link the panels together) can become dislodged, so not enough air is transferred from panel to panel, there's loads that can fail, especially if not thoroughly checked after even the lightest/smallest impact on the air fence.....

That's not a bad shout!! They'd have to be there then, as it would be the cool place to be... Same with pubs, clubs, X rated films, buying fags, booze, porn......!! If they are not supposed to have it, or be there, they'll have it and be there!!!!! -
It matters to presentation!! Even with an old stadium like Kings Lynn, a clean and neat looking fence, a clean, freshly painted white line (kerb at some tracks) and A clean and tidy centre green (grey) in Lynn's case... Makes it all look a lot more professional and welcoming...

Hasn't SCB written some software that can do just that? The uneven, unprofessional way the fixture list is compiled today, especially as there's only 8 teams in the league, is quite laughable.... SCB, couldn't you do a mock up of how the fixture list could be compiled...... Taking into account fixture clashes, GP's etc, obviously you would have problems with no clashing dates to work with, but coy could base it on last season? With all dates already there.....
