You never know, they might have already taken on board ideas from this and other speedway related forums, and have/are incorporating the chosen rules/formats/punishments/rewards..

Leicester V Poole Elb. 20/08/16
Shale Searcher replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yes, it isn't looking good at the moment, but I expect a change of forecast, or modification of rain time by weds evening.... Very difficult forecast at the moment, must be due to that damn planet x or Nibiru what ever it's called.... -
Here's a copy of the original tweet.... Tai Woffinden @TWoffinden 24m24 minutes ago Good luck to #TeamGB in the future! A lot of you wont understand but true fans will! I ain't being mugged of any more #LastStraw #OverIt If any other top sports person tweeted that, dont you think that fans would be up in arms about it and would want an expansion and explanation of the tweet?? Quite rightly fans want to know how he's been "mugged off" He needs to explain, so fans know why, what and wherefore. Otherwise it does just look like he's chucked his toys out his pram, like a petulant child that's been told he can't go to the park today....

Hmm, the statement does not explain his "tweetrant" in any way, shape or form.. The statement has smoke screened the "tweetrant" and it doesn't reflect the "tweetrant" content or its angry bias.. #nowiser "Tweetrant" meaning = A tweet that is written in an angry manner or Rant without substance.

Until we know what's happened/not happened, everything is speculation. It wouldn't surprise if this decision was made before this year's final, and he is just paving the way to debut for Australia in the 2017 Grand Prixs and SWC'S...

Surely, that must have been highlights? Poland only race Sundays, that's why we need to go to one night per week? Ooops! Forgot, Poland ride when they like, with whatever riders they like!! 1 or 2 nights a week will never work for BEL, Poland would not show any respect for our chosen night/s, nor would the riders.....

Totally agree with you..... Established enough to say it like they see it, won't be bullied into saying it's a good meeting when it's not!!

Unfortunately, it's very much "a dog eat dog" world.. No, don't feel sorry for the guy, he probably new that this was gonna happen at some stage this season. Especially when TW's team/s missed out on the play-offs.... I think most riders ride with the knowledge that they could get dropped like a hat, especially if off form or returning from injury.. Although I do have a little empathy for him.. Hope he gets fixed up for remainder of season....

Very poor behaviour from a World Champion, wether he's British, Australian, Polish or Swedish!! He needs media training more than anything else!! Should not have tweeted, facebooked, instagrammed, tumblr'd, beboe'd, snap-chat'd anything.... But should have said nothing, or released an official statement. He needs to grow up..

What Changes Have To Be Made In 2017?
Shale Searcher replied to Sidney the robin's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
To be honest, there's nothing wrong with a basic 15 heat formula meeting, when it's ran efficiently, I can even live with double points.... It's the make-up of the teams, and the loyalty of riders to the teams that's the issue in the UK.. If we went to one or two night, the other Euro Nations (Poland, Sweden, and Denmark) would carve up the remaining nights for themselves, use our one or two nights for rain offs, one off meetings, practise sessions, and we would be absolutely no better off, we'd be worse off, as fans who do lots of race meetings as well as their own teams would be scuppered, and so would British Speedway.... -
Absolutely Ditto!!!! Great rider, great person.... (Mark Loram) that is.....

Think I will plough on with the rest of the thread!

They do gel together well, you'd soon miss em if some other pair took over, even short term... Also, how crap were the streams today? Especially with the video? Was it just me, or did anyone else have streaming difficulties today??

Losing some double downers from the BEL will initially weaken the BPL, but will improve that league long term.... Also, why should foreign journeymen be employed as reserves/second strings when this Country has a third tier? By constantly hiring these foreign journeymen, and unknowns, the BPL should be taking the best of the riders from the third tier (the ones that want to progress) employing as reserves or even second strings, that will free up places in the third tier for the best from the junior leagues, which then creates openings in those leagues for freshmen.... As it is at the moment, there's a bottle necks on the second and third tier, but only on the way up..... This is hindering British Speedway in producing enough riders that WANT to progress.....
