I know, the rain band has stalled!! If you look at the hi res rainfall radar, you'll see that if it had limped another 25 miles south east, we'd be out of the rain now and it would of been sunshine all the way!! Now got to see if it can limp south east a bit sharpish, and be gone by 12 noon as I said originally........ Bloody weather, this is why club's need track covers!! It will stop raining, and had the track been covered, their would be absolutely 100% chance of racing tonight..

The track is rock hard, should be little penetration from the overnight rain, as long as it stops by 12:00 noon/13:00, any surface water can be removed without damaging the track as most of the rain will have ran-off, which means it should be fine, the rest of the day is bright, 20c with a breeze, outside chance of a shower.. UPDATE: The band of heavy rain that is moving in from the west has broken up considerably over the last hour... Doesn't look like it's anywhere near the beast that was originally forecast... In by 02:00, gone by 08:00 I reckon now.....

That was the run up to the recession, it did hit mainland Europe before we got it...

A league followed by a mini league of 6 club's out of the 8 club's, that's whittled down to 4 who then ride in a micro league, then the top 3 club's compete in a round robin, of which the top 2 then play each other in a best of 3!!!!! To find winnner, second and third place!!! -
Belle Vue winning that by a country mile!!

The Premier League is in as much do do as the EL!! Littered with guests, same number of doublers (obviously!!!) Random abscences, irregular fixture list, average manipulation, it's a league full of journeyman, failed EL riders and mediocre foreigners, with the token young British rider is an afterthought.... The whole EL/PL needs a major restructure, with Strict regulations on team building and race nights... + tons of other stuff..

Not heard anything about the sale of the club, so, here's my take (my weather groups take) as it differs slightly from the Met Office, horrendous lack of agreement with the weather computer models, and ensembles... Heavy rain for Leicester, from around 02:00 Sat morning, will linger until around 11:00/12:00 Sat lunchtime, the rain will clear to the east, and we will be left with Sun/cloud mix, with a breeze, and dry rest of day, less than a 15% chance of a late afternoon shower.. temps around 20c Met Office have the rain hanging around until 14:00, and a 20% chance of shower.. I am confident in my groups take on the days weather.. Should be all systems go...

You know, I thought that things were better then, but actually, they really weren't, were they....? An all to familiar situation.. Speedway is a very poor student.. Never learns from its mistakes. Speedway needs to die, it needs the life support machine switching off, and then, well, start again.

So, no planned interval, just hope a rider crashes and gives people enough time to go for a leak or a drink of tea/coffee/other hot/cold drinks are available, but only if prepared in less than 10 mins!! -

Leicester Track Record

The track record has changed this yr, after the track alterations shortened the length by 3 metres I think, so the track record was reset at the season start.... Not sure if Craig Cook holds it now.. -

Perhaps Chris Holder is a bit wary on UK tracks? Having had a couple of big accidents, and being injured by a fence as apposed to being hurt from a stray bike....? Might even be at a subconscious level? -

He's found his "gating gloves" in his toolbox!

It made it a bit like a "first serve" in tennis..... Howarth, set himself up at the start of that race, knowing he could "push" the anticipating the start to its limit, knowing if he got it right, he would gain a significant advantage to the first corner, if he "Ballsed" it up by touching the tapes, or made an obvious "jump" start, he would be excluded, and for the "2nd" serve, they bring in Pedersen!! Who could also then have "2" serves, at the tapes!!! DEFINATLY NEEDS CHANGING FOR 2017.

Why not Leicester???? Look what happened to Jason Doyle when he came to Leicester, was a Premier League Heat Leader, nothing more.... And now look at him......!!!!!
