Hmmmmmmm.. Has a Leicester Lions connection.. following in his fathers footsteps, or should that be tyre tracks!! Son of the enigmatic, world beater one race, wobbler the next, the great Dane Finn Rune Jensen!!

Does that mean that any company registering a business in Jersey, no matter what, or where the actual trading place is can remain 100% anonymous? To everyone? Anywhere in the World? Not even the Police can find out?,or HMRC? Or Jersey equivalent/s?

The one thing that will hold up the process of getting back to one rider, one club is wage levels.. Riders need multiple jobs to earn what in their eyes, is a good wage, gone are the days of second strings and reserves turning up with bikes on a trailer, or in the back of a citreon safari! It's fully ply lined and kitted out vans, 4 different coloured helmets, etc... & Multiple mechanics..... That's what is ruining British speedway.. If, British speedway got crowds of 5,000+ then riders would be paid more, would get more sponsors, and would/could earn twice as much, but only riding for one club..

They'reeeeeeeeeeee Greaaaaaaaat Krispies So, it's gotta be.. Rick Frost and Tim Rice!!!!

Nowhere near the worst signing!! As has been said already, he's a racer, always 100% committed, but a poor gater, which did improve over the last 2 seasons or so.... Now, James Sargeant would be a poor signing... Don't think that will happen.

Your 2017 Prem Winners.
Shale Searcher replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I haveb always rated Bomber, never quite made it in the GP series, had the great win at Cardiff, but always seems to have a couple of "duck eggs" early in meeting and then is up against it to get to the semis/final.. How many times has he scored 5 or 6 points, and if only he'd had a win or second place in his first couple of rides....... In league speedway, here in the UK he has been a great servant and a credit to the sport. How many times has he ridden through the pain barrier for Cov? When others, especially the foreign legion miss meetings for hayfever, headache, broken fingernail? Hope he has a renaissance season for Rye... -
I think Josh Auty could have his best season yet... Was hoping to see Ludwig Lindgren on the Lions teamsheet as well. Looked really good at times, and seemed to bounce well as well!

I think the steel safety fence put a lot of riders off, and fair enough, a direct, head-on was not advisable.. However, at least you didn't get thrown off if pushed out to the fence on the straights (no link-fence to catch handlebars in, or footrests under kickboards) And it was a track that needed to be attacked, not just ridden..

Uncertainty Over Teams And Sky Tv
Shale Searcher replied to Nobblytriers's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I think Sky will dump British domestic speedway when the current deal ends.. None of the Sky dosh improved the product.. No major company seems to be interested in sponsoring the sport, only hope is for ITV or BT Sport picks it up, even a highlights package would do, and that would give the sport a bit of a boost.. -
Coventry Supporters 2017
Shale Searcher replied to False dawn's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Isn't it great to see supporters posting in here, offering lifts/support to other like-minded fans, just great, and hopefully this all works out and the Bees are soon reinstated at Brandon, in the meantime, welcome to Beaumont Park!! -
The Premiership Cake Shop
Shale Searcher replied to BurntFaceMan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So, what decent cakes are left that Leicester can try? And isn't there a new cake shop that only deals in foreign cakes, mostly new types of cake, that may or may not suit Tue UK pallet? -
It's possible that he meant the perimeter fence, and the land immediately behind it, there's a strip about 3 metres all the way round, until you get to the handicapped parking, ambulance, rider parking + an area where the shale is stored, here it's around 15 metres deep.. I doubt he meant the grassed area, behind the main stands or the area that was earmarked for BMX/Cycling....

Problem with getting good people for a back up team, is they would have to be paid positions, there's not a lot of good will left for speedway.... Anyone who tries to get involved, always seems to have, or be accused of having a WIFM factor, speedway needs to break away from that recourse in my opinion.. Does Buster get paid by the BSPA? -
He is OK with the old Premier league level teams, not so hot in the old elite League... Perhaps we need a foreign manager, Marek Cieslak perhaps?

Too early to weather forecast for a whole month!! First week, yes'ish, 2nd week, very rough forecasts, further than 2 weeks away, well, nigh on guestimates!!!!!

I know of a few sportsman (sportswomen are also available) that had other jobs in off season.. I have employed one or two myself!! One does go back to the early 90's, he was a Leicester City player, and he worked on the bins for a local council out of season.. And more recently, in the late 2000's a First Class Leicestershire County Cricketer, that didn't go to play in Oz during a winter, he did admin for me in my office!! So it does happen in other sports..

Rory Shlien is not the answer either, I have already said that I believe he is now too fragile, plus his attitude when it's wet is not suitable, especially in the UK, as its frequently wet..... Ludwig Lindgren is a must lower down the order, he was a bright spot for us towards the end of season last year..

Number 8's, I remember them!! Don't seem to be used in modern speedway (cost saving) as you had to pay them, ride or not.. However, I can't remember if they were treated ride wise, as an additional reserve or had special rules...
