Sue, For future reference try Tigers on Tour facebook page. They provide updates from every Sheffield away fixture. -
Sheffield V Panthers Pl (thursday 14-05-2015 7.30pm)

I agree last night was a cracking meeting and Kurtz was exceptional. Two meetings since Proctorgate R/R 2 points only in both, two very different outcomes if he'd ridden I think. -
Sheffield Vs Ipswich 30/04/15

Dry Dry anyway not very sunny, at least where I am in Sheffield. Home win by 10 -
How do we think the Tigers will fare without Steady. The majority seem happy enough with Cooky as a guest in this fixture and with Garrity as replacement for poor David Bellego. I still think a home win should be on the cards.

Very very strange move to put David in heat 15. Unless no one else wanted to do it !! Excellent all round team display today. Keep the momentum going. Very very strange move to put David in heat 15. Weather permitting, anyone think Redcar will get anything but a hiding in this fixture?

....and it's snowing would you believe it. Let's hope it clears as predicted and we don't have a washout to start the season off !! -
First fixture of the new season. Anyone expect anything other than an emphatic home win?
-
That was the team I heard on Saturday, subject to Poole returning or Risager if he doesn't
-
Do we know why Joe Screen needs replacing?
-
It's all gone quiet on the team building front. I thought that Steady and the management were expecting to tie up next year's deal before he jetted off to Oz. Has that gone pear-shaped?
-
Lanham, not in a million years, you must have a short memory if you've forgotten how poor he was all the way through the season.
-
I would love to see that team Spinny. Any of 3 of that 4 would do me or even all four instead of Proctor, he didn't really convince me, before his injury, that he would be a heat leader at Owlerton.
-
Swap Garrity for Lanham, if that would fit, and I'd be happy with Friddy's team. Sorry but Lanham is a definite no for me, he's been a good rider in the past but is too long in the tooth now.
-
Anyone care? Sheffield's battle to finish one place above the wooden spoon continues with the visit of Berwick. This should be a winnable meeting for the Tigers especially following Berwick's hiding at Scunny.
-
Does anyone know when the cutoff date for qualification is?

Sheffield Vs Ipswich Pl 28/08/14
Tigerish replied to Tigerish's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Andre's absence is looking more and more permanent to me. After we were told that he escaped without serious injury maybe the mental scars are taking a lot longer to heal than anyone envisaged. Good luck to him whatever the future holds. -
Who will be in the patched up Tigers team this week?
-
Can the patched up/walking wounded Tigers inflict a defeat on the high flying Monarchs? Common sense would suggest no, but this is speedway and who knows what will happen? Nico Covatti to make his debut, will he be dialled in straight away? Has he ridden the track before? Will Andre and Josh both be fit? Lots of questions
-
So many to choose from some stand outs for me would be the guy at Leicester who announced Jan Graverson's 62.0 second winning time as a new lap record 60.2. Or the guy at Peterborough who gives the riders really cringeworthy nicknames before, during and after races and whips the 'crowd' up to abject apathy. But for me the winner is Shaun Leigh at my team Sheffield, truly, truly shocking. Even worse he presents at my other team Sheffield Wednesday on Saturdays as well.
