  1. I can't find a schematic of this year's cup draw anywhere. Can anyone point me at it or post it on this thread, please?
  2. This could potentially be a cracker. If it is as good as last week's meeting with Glasgow then we will be 'royally' entertained. Tigers to win by 49-41
  3. Any retractions in the offing folks? I told you it would be top notch entertainment, but you obviously know better.
  4. It's a beautiful sunny day here in South Yorkshire. Get down to Owlerton tonight to see some top notch entertainment and a home win 50-40.
  5. Does anyone know when the new fixtures are coming out?
  6. I believe Jack Lee found the driving difficult back over Woodhead or Snake Pass and therefore declined the offer to carry on as manager
  7. Welcome Moranboys and the same good wishes back to you.
  8. I thought I would start a thread as there doesn't appear to be one for tonight's meeting. Is this apathy on the part of the supporters of both teams? Sheffield have Kus guesting for Jason Garrity and R/R for Josh Bates. I suggest this makes us considerably weaker. Bears have Wilko in for JBA and Simon Lambert for Simon Neilson. JBA rode well last night at Owlerton so he could be missed balanced with Lambert who should clean up at reserve. Close result, hopefully Tigers to sneak a win !!!

  10. NYB I don't see any benefit from buying in advance. It is something new to this season. Pay on the gate mate
  11. Weather permitting can only see a convincing home victory. Anyone think differently? Any team changes that we know of?

  13. So the third attempt to stage this meeting after two previous rain offs. Forecast isn't brilliant but fingers crossed for a nice day. Any news on Jason's injury after the British final fall?
  14. Still awaiting news regarding Josh Bates situation. We are considerably weaker without him as, I believe, only the reserves and Dimiti can cover his rides and nether Arthur Sissis or Nathan Greaves have been tearing it up from reserve.
  15. Return fixture from last Saturday. Will the Tigers take revenge against the Comets? I think they will, T
  16. This should not be allowed for a home team. It's a ridiculous extra advantage when the home team also should have track knowledge.
  17. I was in the café when it was called off and it had been raining heavily between 5:30 and 7ish. When I left at about 7:30 it had stopped but the track was definitely too wet and there was no prospect of it drying out quickly. Sorry to anyone that travelled up. It's a risky business being a speedway follower !!!
  18. Thanks B4E for the news. There wasn't much posted about the extent of his injury hence the question.
  19. Re-arranged fixture. This should be a home win. Anyone heard if Steady is fit after his tumble at Berwick?
  20. We've not had any rain so far today. I think the management have decided to call early on the forecast to save the Rye supporters the trip. Well done to them for acting early.
  21. The forecast is for rain tomorrow evening. Fingers crossed it is wrong.
  22. Another home win should be the outcome of this. Anyone got any alternative opinions?
  23. I think so. We were in the hospitality box last night and there was a guy filming the races set up next to us.
