  1. No, neither am I, but, if Leicester's experience is anything to go by, it might be missing for a good few years. As it is, I can't see anyone getting planning permission and building a new track in time for the Bees to move in straight after they leave Brandon.
  2. Couldn't agree more - with half the riders guesting its a farce!
  3. According to various dictionaries shennanigans means "Secret or dishonest activity or manoeuvring". What has been going on?
  4. That's our two doubling up riders sorted then. What about Klindt? I think he is still a snip on his 2014 average.
  5. What sort of a financial shape? Pear, good, poor?
  6. This is all tongue in cheek anyway but Ward has only scored 5 points from 5 rides at Leicester.
  7. I saw Harris & Bridger bring off some good passes on the track as it is this season. Not sure about Ward!
  8. I wouldn't get too excited about next season yet - too many imponderables at the moment.
  9. I had included bonus points in the average but not TR points. Harris scored 11 + 2 from 5 for Wolves @Leicester on 29th March. !0 + 2 from 5 for Cov on 19th April, 10 from 5 for BV on 5th July, 2 from 4 for Wolves on 9th August & 8 + 2 from 5 for Cov on 31st August.
  10. According to my records he averages 7.13 at home & 5.86 away for the Lions. He has dropped 0.46 off his staring average.
  11. Harris has ridden at Leicester 5 times this season for an average of 7.5.
  12. Looks like the Lions are in for a couple of drubbings today. We will be well outscored at reserve and Nicolai only got one point from 4 rides at Workington last night - so he might not be fully recovered. Could see us using R/R for him tonight.
  13. This is a professional sport. Its what riders do - like diving at football.
  14. According to the Lion's web site its Masters or Klindt in the return at Leicester.
  15. Whilst I think that last night's delays were a bit ott when the Lions rode at Wimborne Road in June the start was delayed because the sun was in the rider's eyes!
  16. Apart from the decision to put Ward out in heat 15 I could not understand the Poole tactics in that heat. The most match points they could get was 3 if they got at least 3 points in the heat. So surely the plan was let Jason go, take Mads wide and out of the play on bends 1 & 2 and settle in for a comfortable 3 – 3 behind Jason. Bends 1 & 2 went according to plan but then the Poole riders seemed to be trying to catch Jason instead of team riding with the result that Darcy fell – at least he had the sense to stay down and get the race stopped for a re-run. Great race by Jason in the re-run – worth the admission money alone!
  17. Already looking forward to hearing why Norrie Allen didn't put Jason on a TR in Heat 6!
  18. Calling all Regulation Anoraks! If Mads gets a sick note for Wednesday after his crash last night can the Lions have a guest for him tomorrow instead of a 6 point P.L. rider?
  19. I think you are right. They did the same with Garrity - bet they wish he rode for the Lions now!
  20. As I said on another thread expect Lewis Blackbird to have 7 rides and score a third of Eastbourne's points.
