  1. Hey with pins, plates, things an' private medical cover via KL {he is their asset after all and an integral part of their potentially Elite Title winning combo], maybe he will be back without becoming 'Steve Austin'
  2. So another month of R/R I guess unless we do a Poole and sign somebody for a month?
  3. Another 3 points for the lads against a so-so Rebels team barely a shadow of previous seasons, but the oppo is the oppo and to be honest the Diamonds seem to be on the up thanks to the 'Devine One'. George and his motivational skills maybe had an influence too though. Still believe we have track probs. Maybe the away riders fail to embrace the niceties of our track, but when you see the Kerminator fighting his own bike for control, you have to wonder whether he has miss-judged his bike settings-questionable? or the racing surface has him 'flummixed'-more likely. Suppose his mind could also have been half on the British Final too though. Just my musings and in only a very slight way looking to support a certain Bandits fan as to her query's re. our track surface.
  4. I have to agree with TWK on his team riding point. With a little help Millsey might have held off Wright to completely nullify the tactical advantage. But to be fair to Ludo. he has just got his gating gloves back, so some slack in this case may be appropriate.
  5. Yeah, he was a revelation. Tell me again why your lot dumped him? Clearly, as with Schrambo , a change of scenery has worked wonders. We may win a prize for having the oldest reserve pairing, but hey, if it works!
  6. Its about blo**y time increased medical cover was a legislated requirement, and not just so the damn meeting can continue. Another Kyle might well have died on track but for our excellent medical team at Brough.
  7. Sure as hell weren't off the boil when he guested for us last Sunday!
  8. Other than the fact that we are weakened until Schrammo returns and the less meetings we ride the better. Bit of a double-edged sword really.
  9. Thanks for the info. Had an idea it was going back a bit, but did not reckon on that far. A relation to Kenny Ingels by any chance?
  10. Sounds pretty good- was disappointed when he missed the Monarchs visit. Hopefully worth a few points come Sunday. Can history experts out there tell me when we last had a Yank riding in our colours?
  11. Exactly the reason why the Diamonds had a re-shuffle to bring in Danny King as an o.+ o no 1. Problem is we went from a strength in depth team ala. Lakeside to a top heavy one. At the moment most fans are unsure as to whether our team is really that much better than before, though we see glimmers of hope. In short, beware the clamour for change lest it bite you in your nether regions. Mind you, if your lot need some meat in their sandwich-what about wor Robbo?
  12. Yeah, one of the downsides of this Fast Track stuff is riders of Robbo's calibre are losing out on EL berths. He said on Sunday when interviewed post meeting that he was short on rides. Hopefully his performance in front of the cameras will net him further rides elsewhere.
  13. Damn, never been there before cos of the walk, venue for my next visit perchance.
  14. Never have been a fan of the 'scotch pie' sorry each to their own.
  15. Yeah, the difference was noticeable but surely a chat in the pits re. set ups could have been done weeks ago if it was that simple. Time will tell if we get the real 'Lightning Ludo' back. Yeah, twigged that, but it did look so funny-maybe not to the Berwick fan who at home is bemused by the scorecard though.
  16. Robbo riding for your lot Monday night. Remember, we need him back in one unbroken piece after he scores you a few.
  17. More than a few Diamonds fans are of the same opinion. I have to admit that the best bit of a Berwick trip was often the ' Anderson Burger' rather than the often processional 'racing'. Our track needs sorting before someone does even more damage to either themselves or their bank balance crashing out while trying to find an almost non existent second racing line.
  18. Well the sun is shining right now, but we had a very light shower around 1.45. Local forecast is showers from 4.00 and thunder at 7.00 so my bets are still hedged. Know nothing of track state other than the post re. the dogs last night.
  19. Guessing that the unsung heroes of Jonny and his lads will be able to remove yesterday's water, but the real question mark lies in the forecast for rain at 4.00 ish. and thunder showers at 7.00 ish. I cant see the track as being able to withstand much more of the wet stuff landing. If this goes ahead, it will be the 'overalls' that we will have to thank methinks.
  20. Level of rain falling now and expected in the coming hours must make this fixture doubtful. Given our lack of reserves, prob. a good thing. Was going up to Berwick for the GP qualifier, but the weather there is equally foul so have erred on the side of caution. Cant see it being other than rained off.
