Another 3 points for the lads against a so-so Rebels team barely a shadow of previous seasons, but the oppo is the oppo and to be honest the Diamonds seem to be on the up thanks to the 'Devine One'. George and his motivational skills maybe had an influence too though. Still believe we have track probs. Maybe the away riders fail to embrace the niceties of our track, but when you see the Kerminator fighting his own bike for control, you have to wonder whether he has miss-judged his bike settings-questionable? or the racing surface has him 'flummixed'-more likely. Suppose his mind could also have been half on the British Final too though. Just my musings and in only a very slight way looking to support a certain Bandits fan as to her query's re. our track surface.

It Is Time To Get Shot Of Mr Watt!

Exactly the reason why the Diamonds had a re-shuffle to bring in Danny King as an o.+ o no 1. Problem is we went from a strength in depth team ala. Lakeside to a top heavy one. At the moment most fans are unsure as to whether our team is really that much better than before, though we see glimmers of hope. In short, beware the clamour for change lest it bite you in your nether regions. Mind you, if your lot need some meat in their sandwich-what about wor Robbo? -
Yeah, the difference was noticeable but surely a chat in the pits re. set ups could have been done weeks ago if it was that simple. Time will tell if we get the real 'Lightning Ludo' back. Yeah, twigged that, but it did look so funny-maybe not to the Berwick fan who at home is bemused by the scorecard though.

More than a few Diamonds fans are of the same opinion. I have to admit that the best bit of a Berwick trip was often the ' Anderson Burger' rather than the often processional 'racing'. Our track needs sorting before someone does even more damage to either themselves or their bank balance crashing out while trying to find an almost non existent second racing line.

Guessing that the unsung heroes of Jonny and his lads will be able to remove yesterday's water, but the real question mark lies in the forecast for rain at 4.00 ish. and thunder showers at 7.00 ish. I cant see the track as being able to withstand much more of the wet stuff landing. If this goes ahead, it will be the 'overalls' that we will have to thank methinks.

Level of rain falling now and expected in the coming hours must make this fixture doubtful. Given our lack of reserves, prob. a good thing. Was going up to Berwick for the GP qualifier, but the weather there is equally foul so have erred on the side of caution. Cant see it being other than rained off.
