Cant see Lambert ever going anywhere near the Panthers ever again, too much bad blood there atm. imo.
-
Your loss, the 'rant' rocks IMO.
-
And you call yourself a Diamonds fan! 'Trevor Bach'? the welsh connection, please keep up.
-
Still hoping for a return of 'Trevor'

Might get there, work permitting, if not, then this forum will doubtless fill in my currant blanks. None of our 2016 riders are claimed as yet, but numbers will preclude a re-declaration, so lets see what, if any of the all the speculations bear fruit. One thing is certain, whingers united will be in direct competition to diamonds city as to whether we have the 'bees knees' or the 'parsons nose' squad make-up wise. Should make for a more than lively forum by this time Monday night.

Ludvig is well! Ludvig. Love him or loathe him, can anyone really question his commitment to our club. Wholehearted work ethic on and OFF the field speak chapters in his defence. Do I want a point scoring machine? Yes, but anyone can see how his motivational skills in the pits are also paramount to our success. Hopefully, the question of captaincy in team forming takes this into account.

If Lingren and Kus are going elsewhere, then its a cash generating exercise to afford top name wage bills. Both are assets and to me would be pencilled in for 2017 team places otherwise. Numbers permitting obviously!

This statement alone should ring the alarm bells for all the pro- Garrity bods out there.
-
He would put posteriors on seats for sure, but can he be channeled correctly by George and co? IMO. the management would not sign him if they had any real uncertainty as to how to control him. Still would prefer to keep Lambert though, or a return of Trevor?

WIN AT ALL COSTS! Is this really what it all boils down to/ Many riders have 'pushed the envelope'. Greg deserves to win on sportsmanship qualities alone let alone his riding abilities. -
Bloody typical! Not only is an essentially European competition being decided in the far reaches of Oz land, but now we have to listen to 'neigbouresque' accents as well. Is this the result of antipodean demands or a tight fisted fit of pique from the European based controllers of the Pearson/Tatum combination I wonder?

Are'nt heat leaders supposed to be the 'stars' of a team? If so, then Ippy brought their big guns. How many in the so called ' paying public' actually base their attend decision on if a teams stars are attending as to whether the young hopeful is in situ? Many tonight would have come to see Danny and Ben, while also gauging potential play-off opposition fully realising that a home victory was highly likely. -

Be good to see Danny King back at Brough and which BB turns up. Covatti is also usually good value too. Still see this a strong home win though! -
Maybe a season early for that! King Kenny was mooted for greatness, but IMHO needed at least one more year at PL level before attempting the Polish route. Hopefully, young Robert is being better advised, even if that means he is elsewhere in our league come next season. Would love to see him at Brough again in Diamonds colours, obviously.

Can anyone not remember the debacle a couple of years hence when we lost a rider, Rosen?, had Jacob Thorsell lined up, only for him to break his wrist thereby leaving us forced to use R/R because the 'transfer deadline' had expired. The management acted quickly to secure the only viable alternative to R/R, but still are being vilified from some with seemingly short memories.

If and when we make the play-offs, can we afford to have a basically non-scoring guy at no 7? We can and will hit 5-1's with our top end pairings, but we will lose points every day with Phillips in a heat. 3-3's only work when our top guys hit the front, so on a missed start with Danny in tow, it immediately becomes 2-4 or worse. I wonder just exactly how many races George actually expects to get anything positive from our no7? Away from home a NL rider is always going to be suspect on an unfamiliar track, but ours is still being regularly beaten at home by riders supposedly of his own pedigree. The after meeting practices we all see show our lads trying to up his game, but all I see is a Stevie situation in the offing and a resignation in the best interests of Diamonds fortunes.

Redcar V Newcastle Pl Thursday 18th August 2016

If it is Robbo, fingers crossed, then I think Newcastle will have an excellent chance of a hat full of points from this meeting. If Lambert can get the better of Bellago on his home track then Rose be the dominant reserve on the night the outcome should be a clear victory. Mind you though, the Bears do have a habit of bringing that little bit extra when at home to us. -
Bugger, I just posted my congrats to the lads in the Rye thread. Still works though and worth two mentions if they do a Kenni/Rene.

Only seen at Brough, but I see what you mean, though a visit to our track is always a steep learning curve. Doubtful that Robert will be here, or indeed anywhere in this league come next season, but he is mature enough, even this early career wise, to realise he requires this experience. As to Phillips, his time here is very def. under question. Started with promise, but can he continue to maintain his bike without points winning finances to sustain per se performances, highly doubtful? Without an meaningful performance come the Scunny meeting, his days are very numbered, given a realistic replacement. A Rose Palovaara swap come the next averages will only add an extra dimension to this query.
