  1. Grow up ... I'm concerned about the very future of British speedway , nothing to do with Belle Vue or Poole
  2. Robert Lambert / Dan Bewley Kings Lynn Robert Lambert Dan Bewley Robert Lambert Belle Vue v Somerset Poole Swindon Steve Worrall Frederick Jacobsen
  3. The farcical 2018 'grand' final was probably the final nail in British speedways coffin . so, no it doesn't sound good .... At the moment it sounds irrelevant , and thats no slant on the Pirates BTW
  4. I remember the days at Hyde road , Booey in his blue leathers , Ole in black , Tiger Louis etc etc Great days , and all looked ultra professional
  5. There was a time when nobody wore team suits, you identified the riders by their individual leathers / Kevlars I actually thought the Pirates looked good with the 'old fashioned' race jackets on . Just my opinion
  6. What a farcical end to the season , what a complete joke / laughing stock British speedway has become .
  7. "Banned " ?..... You do realise any contribution to these kind of funds is purely voluntary ??? This one is basically an on-line 'whip round' so Belle Vue fans can aid (financially) one of their stricken riders
  8. Tthere's secure parking on pink bank lane , which is off kirkmanshulme lane , or alternatively you could park On the gala bingo or showcase cinema car parks facing the NSS The view from the grandstand is fantastic and has food and drink at each end of the concourse Unfortunately you're not allowed to take your own food and drink into the stadium, Hope the weather holds off and you enjoy your visit , it really is a fantastic venue for Speedway
  9. Over the last 3 years we've witnessed teams chop and change their starting line ups and even bring in GP riders just for the play offs, All within the rules i may add, but come the end of season PO chase the Aces chances are yet again ruined by injuries ( Fricke / Bjerre ) This isnt sour grapes BTW, as i know Wolves suffered similar fate last year , but the rule is a joke. why should teams be punished When a rider is genuinely injured ?? Main thing is Dan makes a speedy recovery, he's worth the admission fee alone
  10. I think the play off places are more or less settled , which makes BVs run of form prior to tonight even more frustrating Still maintain not replacing S Worrall for the remainder of the season as cost the Aces
  11. Fantastic result from the Aces , and a personal apology from me to Craig Cook, The guys a fighter,
  12. Desperately sad news , remember his all action style around the dog track at BV Rest in peace Tomasz
  13. Possibly , but like Kurtz he's only young , bit to early to draw comparisons with Holder and especially Doyle IMO Both talented young riders .
  14. Why because of one poor meeting ?, Max definitely has the potential to be a future GP rider , could have been in next years series but for engine failure
  15. Trying to avoid a knee jerk reaction , but the backbone of this Aces team has consistently failed to produce Away from the NSS when the chips are down . Simply not good enough
  16. Agree with 99% of this , except the gloating at the end But it has to be said Mark Lemon as made a complete shambles of the Aces team changes . He's clueless .... IMO
  17. Why didn't Lemon replace Fricke, when he touched the tapes in heat 6 with Riss ???
  18. Yeah. Time for changes ... I’d keep Max , Bewley and S Worrall who to be fair is still carrying that serious injury , which makes Lemons decision not to replace him permanently even more bizarre
  19. Embarrassing , pathetic performance from the Aces so far , Cook , Worrall , Tungate , Fricke ....1 point between them after 6 ! big changes required, next season?
  20. I'm sorry but Mark Lemon doesn't seem to have a clue... After a very impressive guest appearance for the Aces v Leicester in May the change should have been Erik Riss for Stevie Worrall ,who was never going to recover sufficiently from such a serious injury Then possibly look at bolstering the reserve positions , (maybe Mark Riss for Drozdz ? ) now Dimitri Berge .... its to little too late im afraid
  21. Dont agree , Etheridge had been doing really well at the NSS , maybe not so much away from home But overall having a good debut season
  22. As the Aces season goes T**s up , The decisions to not replace the injured Worrall permanently ( ironically with E Riss ) and to dump the ever improving Etheridge Are looking worse by the week IMO of course
