  1. I'd agree about potential to improve ( apart from Wright who could easily up his 5. average) but the heat leader trio should be a threat Both home and away, also in Bjerre and Barker they have possibly the strongest reserves in the league ?
  2. With fitness concerns over Bewley and Worrall, and Lydsey lack of experience The Panthers look a hell of a lot stronger than the Aces.... IMO of course
  3. Its all about opinions , Mine opinion is... that Panthers line up is one of the strongest posted so far , Bomber .. can still perform at PL level , as proven last year HA ... Still a very capable PL heat leader Wright .. Should be able to up that average by at least a point Cook... Will feel he has something to prove , and will probably finish top of averages Add to that a very strong reserve duo ,... Looks very promising for Peterborough
  4. Barker and Bjerre at reserve, thats surely a title winning team , barring injuries
  5. Quite a strong looking line up , obviously a lot will depend on Dan's fitness and how long it takes Lydsey to settle in
  6. I said he’s a capable International Speedway rider , I stand by that .... I also said the GPS were a step to far for his talent level however his failings on the big Polish circuits were down to horsepower, not lack of ability in my opinion anyway
  7. Quite right , I have no idea the real reason why BV omitted Craig Cook from their 2019 line up
  8. But We don’t know that he was “ touting himself to the highest bidder’ do we ? Maybe it’s just a case of the Aces could build a stronger side without his 7.73 average? .. doesnt seem the kind of rider who wouldn’t ride for the Aces because of financial demands ..but then again I’ve no proof of that
  9. Realistically Cook doesn’t have the talent of someone like Lambert, but Craig is probably the next level down , ie a very capable international speedway rider . the GPs were a step too far , but he more than deserved to his chance to ride at that level, albeit possibly for only one season. I’m genuinely sorry to see his time as an Ace end the way it did , hopefully bridges haven’t been burned and he can return one day ? .... doubt it though
  10. It’ll be Interesting to see what the middle order / reserves will be ? BV need riders who will regularly score 6 / 7 points away from the NSS , it’s this that has let the Aces down in recent years
  11. Good luck to Cookie at Peterborough, Looking forward to giving him a great reception when he returns to the NSS
  12. Wolves putting together a very strong looking 7
  13. A lot would depend on Bjerre , but they both look weak compared with other line ups ,
  14. Wooden spoon beckons with both those line ups
  15. If in fact BV are on a cost cutting excercise ... Fricke 8.20 Worrall 6.32 Wells 5.77 Bellego 6.11 Bewley 7.31 Allen 4.56 Berge / Lydsey ? Doesn't fill me with confidence if im honest
  16. If indeed Jack Holder is Poole bound, then the Aces seem to be running out of suitable replacements fast ! Unless theres some GP star lined up already ? Zagar ? Woofy ? ( )
  17. Is Jack Holder definitely going back to Poole ? . If not , thats one option to replace Cook
  18. Whatever the rights and wrongs , its such a shame Cookies 8 yrs as a BV rider as ended this way
  19. Probably the time is right for Cookie to move on , but he’s far from a ‘bog standard run of the mill rider’ ..... imo of course
  20. Ok ..... Cook gave 100% commitment to the Aces 99.9% of the time he was there ... is that better?
  21. If its just 1 in for Cook and its Bjerre .... Its going to be a long season
