  1. I don't think he's been the same since he had his bikes / equipment stolen ?
  2. Feel for Jack at the moment , seems to be trying his b**** off without any success . Looks to lack speed in his machinery ?
  3. I know the Pirates are struggling at the moment but any team would miss Kurtz , I Thought Lahti looked a decent rider tonight ,despite his low score , Agree with what a lot of Poole fans are saying , riding at 5 does him no favours at all
  4. Not me Steve , didn't think it was fair at the time , probably don't now But Wolves deserved the victory , absolutely smashed the Aces at Monmore
  5. Wolves did nothing wrong by bringing 'their' asset back for the business end of last season , And deserved to be champions . But comparing the Woffinden move to Tungate is ridiculous. Tungate was sacked by Somerset for a series of low scores , and yes he may very well improve his average at BV But being allowed to draft in the current world champion just in time for the play offs, is completely different
  6. Maybe you could cut down on the facetious attitude, that'd be a start My main point is newcomers to the sport can't understand why teams have to be ' Weakened ' because they were successful the previous season?
  7. I realise some kind of points limit as to be in place , but the point I'm trying to make is , to the newcomers to our sport having to release riders because their average is to high (owing to them being successful) looks ridiculous Possibly Bjerre and Fricke going next year ?
  8. Zagar Worrall and Jacobs could have been accomodated at the expense of others yes , But thats not my point , constantly changing teams does the sport no favours at all ,especially in the eyes of 'new' fans As no affinity towards individual riders is allowed to grow , already talking about losing Bjerre or Fricke for 2018
  9. You would have to retrieve Woffinden from up his own A*** , before any signing could be made And that could take months
  10. So i introduced a few friends to the sport of speedway at the NSS beginning of last season , and they were getting realy interested , Until the stupid rules started kicking in , like being allowed to bring Woffinden back for the Play offs ( dont blame Wolves for that BTW } Then not being able to accomodate Zagar , R Worrall , Joe Jacobs this season , and now the probability of Bjerre or Fricke riding elsewhere next year I cant see my friends being speedway fans for much longer if im honest No wonder the sport in this country is on its knees
  11. Early days but Dan Bewley is the most exciting talent I've seen in British speedway since Peter Collins and Michael Lee , Such a smooth riding style , never gets flustered no matter what track conditions are like , Fantastic prospect
  12. No , especially when it concerns Belle Vue or their new stadium ,
  13. Thats at least three times in previous posts you've stated .. Quote " it should be a good track at NSS , its brand new " Do you have any idea what a completely ridiculous statement that is? , tracks aren't automatically great circuits because they are new , in fact in many cases quite the opposite occurs
  14. I was just pointing out Swindon had made changes just like all the other teams Including Belle Vue Not sure why the racing wasn't up to usual NSS sttandards ? BV 1 - 7 seemed to lack any kind of speed , and were out gated on numerous occasions
  15. Stood by their riders ? Made two changes recently haven't they ?
  16. First of all, well done Swindon , completely deserved winners . But can anyone explain why BV riders looked 10 yrds slower than the visiting riders ? Not being disrespectful because he looks a fine prospect But how can riders like BWD absolutely fly round the NSS on their first ever visit , yet the home riders look really slow ? Set ups ? Machinery ?
  17. Hope he can get some points tonight at NSS , but as you say the Robins reserve duo look particularly strong Going to be tough
  18. Sorry , i apologize , Yeah he is a good prospect , but he is struggling at the moment at home as well
  19. Yes Jack Smith is struggling at the moment , as was expected from a 17 year old thrown into top tier racing no idea why you have to emphasize his score ( twice ) as "big fat zero " though ? ?
  20. Great news ! , as I've stated before If I'd have had to listen to him scream "grandstand make some noise !!!!! " one more time I'd commandeer a tractor and run the ******* over .
  21. Such a shame I'll never get to see Darcy Ward ride at the NSS . Now that would have been worth the admission fee !
  22. Regarding Bewley , Not been this excited by a young British rider since Kenny Carter, only 18 but yet looks in complete control on a Speedway bike whatever the conditions
