Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
WestGorton1884 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Probably Swindon over two legs , but the Pirates could well cause a surprise -
No way am i dismissive of any of the top 4 , especially Swindon , but the majority of posts on here don't seem to fancy the Aces at all ? Maybe its rhe injury to Fricke or no genuine home track advantage , not quite sure the reason ?

Belle Vue V Rye House 30 Aug 2017

I personally dont think K Bjerre is the kind of rider who picks and chooses The meetings he performs in , I would imagine the Poole and Wolves meetings being so close together gave him very little time To rectify any machinery problems , -

"choosing when he decides to turn up "?, KB has consistently been one of our top performers all year , two poor meetings In the space of 8 hours ( thanks to lack of engines ) and he " should be ashamed of himself "? Unbelievable comment -

If one of the Aces top riders as a off day ( KB today ) we're basically a 4 man team , Whens Max back ? -
Well done Leicester , deserved win. Some great racing as well , possibly some of the best I've seen at NSS , Tungate was on fire as was Lasse Bjerre The general consensus is BV don't have a home track advantage because the track is so fair . But how can riders like Bjerre jnr just turn up for their first ever meeting there and look so much faster than home riders ?

So nobody fancies the Aces ?... Ok

Of course Aces fans care about the riders welfare , What a strange thing to say ? -

It's the paying public that suffer yet again , In no way shape or form can this be now be classed as a competitive meeting Absolutely ridiculous scenario -

Tungate out now So taking into account Jack Smith's poor form , this basically is a 4 man team ?, What a complete farce this sport as become , worrying days indeed -
My apologies , but quite a few fans talk like BV are trying to replace J Smith with Dudek !!
-
Karma ? , Absolute rubbish We're suffering ( yet again ) because certain other clubs have bent / twisted the rules for years This latest kick in balls involves not being able to replace a rider with genuinely serious injury I.E ,Broken bones in his neck , with a like for like replacement . thats not Karma , its a ******* travesty !
-
Kylmakorpi injured , Wolves draft in the World Champion H.Andersen injured , Poole draft in Grand Prix regular Yet Belle Vue are not allowed a replacement ,not even a guest ! . i know its 'the rules' But is it any wonder Aces fans feel hard done by ?
-
You think thats ironic ? I can think of a few other terms to sum up BSPA rulings
-
I'm not sure thats a worse situation to be honest ? Sure losing Zac is a big blow , but Max Fricke is a vital part of our heat leader trio and was flying on Monday night Its a massive loss for the Aces , RR or not
-
So , im confused ?? (admittedly doesn't take much .) are BV allowed a guest for Fricke or is RR the only option open to them ?
-
So basically the Aces have to ride the rest of the season with a 6 man team ?, What a joke this sport as become
