  1. Nick Morris may need to be removed off the Swindon line-up...and keep an eye open to news that he'll need to be added to Leicester's
  2. In that case why do speedway clubs and the BSPA still continue with these premium rate phone numbers instead of developing mobile friendly web sites or even Apps for iPhones and Android?
  3. Because the BSPA know it all better. innit?
  4. http://www.alexandrapalace.com/whats-on/world-championship-of-ping-pong-2014/
  5. Does anyone still use the "09066" telephone information services these days? If so, why, and what benefit did you get from it? If not, why not? If you did in the past and have stopped, what caused the change in heart?
  6. If someone like Jason Doyle who has kept his nose clean is having difficulties
  7. ONE person - Bartosz Kuczynski, from a Poznan "team" that doesn't exist, talks to Len Silver, and the whole thing is turned into an article about how Len knows best and how "Poles" (plural in the title) bow down to him for advice. Whoever wrote (spun) this story should add it to their CV when applying for a job with the political parties in time for the next general election.
  8. Matt Ford has done a lot of back-pedaling since then. Maybe he should take up cycle speedway? As for anyone objecting to Sky making money, there's nothing to stop you buying shares in BSkyB and benefiting from their business acumen. They are a commercial enterprise after all, not a social service.
  9. They are the right generation for most speedway fans too.
  10. So it sounds like there is still no sponsorship deal in place for the league(s) and a cut-off date has been passed whereby Sky can wait no more. Good luck with putting the show together which sounds like it's going to be as easy as herding a hundred cats.
  11. Maybe the continuing SkySports logos on the BSPA and GoSpeed web sites and the continuing use of the SkySports branded video - http://www.speedwaygb.co/whatisspeedway.html - tell there own story
  12. My early season prediction is that Birmingham will be the last team to sign there seventh rider.
  13. Live TV and Radio kill off attendances. With so many fans all over the country being elderly, it's a comfortable option to watch at home. Messing around with the race nights to suit TV schedules messes people about too. Birmingham's crowds increased after Radio WM were stopped from broadcasting. More important that crowds come in through the gates not stay at home. It's bigger crowds in stadiums that attract sponsors too. Maybe instead of live speedway, someone could do a roundup show at the weekend or something?
  14. Also need someone who can get lots of sponsorship to make up for the sponsors lost.
  15. Profitable as long as YOU don't have to contribute to the profits by paying for pay-per-view, you mean. Typical speedway fan. Are there any quotes from you complaining about tracks not having any money and not paying their riders by any chance?
  16. 3 assets of EL quality, only 2 of which were obtained during the last 3 years and all that after record sponsorship was brought in. Not good enough.
  17. The fixtures are already on the Sportowefakty calendar for 2014. See the following page, and scroll back and forward though the dates to find what you are after. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/kalendarz/2014/05
  18. No announcement about sponsors yet? Might get a good rider if there is sponsorship there to pay for him.
  19. Barry has let The Cat out of the bag as will be seen when its announced. If Barker had a hard time converting the fans to his cause, what's left of them will have an even harder time accepting Kennett.
  20. Now let's guess who the next signing will be
