  1. Of the four announced tonight - it is good to see Jonas back but other than that it’s underwhelming Assuming we need a 2 pointer to make it all fit and Stoneman is fine for that Personally I’m not as excited as some to see Jorgensen return but we shall see in time and will have a better idea when the final two are announced
  2. That probably signals that Bomber is moving on if Leon is captain Jorgensen and Schlein to be the other two heat leaders for the Bandits in 2023 is my guess
  3. They better have worked out a better system for getting pints tonight rather than opening three cans and measuring it out, expect there will be quite a queue if they haven’t.
  4. Jensen has turned in to a very very good heat leader over the past season and Vissing is pure class on his day In a weaker league I think they’ll be pretty hard to beat but we’ll see.
  5. This could go either way and I expect we will miss Jye quite a bit Again I can see Cook, Jensen and Vissing putting on a show but the Bandits have the edge at reserve If I was a Tigers fan I’d be quietly confident of sneaking a win if the three heat leaders can get some solid support Berwick will need to have there gating gloves on tonight.
  6. Berwick looked very slow compared to the Tigers once they knocked the rust off. Very few will beat Cook, Jensen or Vissing round there they all looked especially quick. A bit of a comedown after a brilliant double over Newcastle but to be expected really.
  7. Comfortably the weakest bottom 3 in the league with Carr, Etheridge & Payne. We'll need to make further changes once the averages change or the wooden spoon still beckons.
  8. So we now have an excellent heat leader in Nick Morris who paired with Bridger should be able to challenge any opposing teams big hiiters. With regards to Etheridge and Payne well Payne should be able to hold his own much like Blacklock but the Etheridge signing is bemusing he was garbage with Edinburgh so unless something serious has changed it seems like a step sideways all round I can't really see much changing we have bolstered at the heat leader position but now leave ourselves exposed further down.
  9. I should have probably used the word predictable It's interesting that you can find fault in my choice of words but you never seem to be able to find fault with this team 🤔
  10. Yes and about as predictable as the Bandits throwing away a lead.
  11. How long until we get the generic posts saying despite the result it was a great meeting from Big Eddie and the like Nine meetings so far and one win says it all.
  12. The team has no backbone our heat leaders are sub par compared to the rest of the league as are our second strings Bridger looks quick when he gets going but he can't make a start for one reason or another The only positive is Gappmaier but as soon as the averages change and he is pushed in to the main body of the team I think he will find it more of a struggle.
  13. How bad is the lighting at Armadale these days it's pitch black I'm standing on the third bend and I can barely see the first and second bend No excuse for how bad Berwick have been but the track is awful.
  14. Can't understand where you get glory hunters from when all of the folk who are wanting Berwick to do well and win on here and are requesting changes are some of the best fans I know of and have supported the team through thick and thin and home and away and I imagine a lot of them will be at all three meetings this weekend.
  15. Like all sport it is a results based business and if we were all glory hunters like you say we would go and support Edinburgh I enjoy an entertaining meeting as much as the next person but I support Berwick and that means I want them to win and when they don't and are as poor as they have been so far this season then like most Berwick fans I am disappointed and as someone mentioned it won't take long for fans to get fed up with an underperforming team and find something better to do on a Saturday Night You are one of the very few speedway fans I have spoke to that doesn't seem to be particularly bothered about how good or bad the team you follow is doing Glasgow to win 48-42.
  16. After watching yet another abysmal Bandits performance, there can be no arguments against the fact that we need to make team changes. Carr and Berge have to be top of the list of casualties, and I would also be tempted to get shot of Doolan too, albeit unlikely with his testimonial coming up.
  17. If things don't change this weekend then changes are going to have to be imminent as we are starting to get in to the thick of the league meetings and so far we look comfortably the worst team in the league With the exception of the two reserves nobody in the top 5 have shown anything other than occasional glimpses of good form and I know Vissing has been good at home but that's about it Our trips to Newcastle, Ipswich and Sheffield were embarrassing and I'm guessing Newcastle will put close to 60 if not more past us on Sunday I know I'm going to get plenty of people coming back at me saying it's too early in the season but take a look at every other team in the league and we are well off the pace and if things continue I could see us taking a few pastings at home and now that the league is smaller there's more riders desperate for a team place so if things don't change I think the promotion need to be a lot more proactive in changing things about than the previous promotion.
  18. If the team does how the 'wow' factor which Havvy claims it does then Gappmier has to be left out.
  19. That is what I understood it to be. Regardless of that I wouldn't have Gappmaer over Perry and I wouldn't have Garcia at all.
  20. I still wouldn't bother. Tom Perry was much more entertaining and looks like the better rider to me.
  21. His actual average last season was 3.75 and it clearly states on the final BSPA averages he will come in on a 5. Why sign someone on a false average that they couldn't ride to last season and if anything he got worse over time, the same applies to Garcia.
  22. I trust Havvy will get the last two signings right. Personally would avoid going with two 5 pointers and opt for ideally Perry and a 7 pointer.
  23. Carrying four reserves that's got to be a basement team.
