Chap is his own worst enemy and his extra large head has got him to where he is now. Shame as he was a real talent but like so many others he was world champion in his head and acted like it before he had won anything.

Indeed would be nice as were local, but lucky Matt has lots of companies waiting to help. Our reason is we wish to return more to the SGP after sponsoring Bydgosh this year and increase our sponsorship as in the past with BSI. We are going to help Poole more as well in 2015 and indeed could be the main sponsor at other clubs for the same figure if we wished Kyle deal already done for 2015 and just looking at other prospects for next year.

We shall not be the new Main Team sponsor for 2015 However our support will be increased to the club and on a rider level too

F1 is a great sport and attracts fans and sponsors for this reason. This is because speedway has no commercial market for companies large or small. Because of the small fan base and the type of person who does attend they are not really in a position to buy the products the sponsors sell. If you put 20/50/100k into speedway what will your return be ? No where near the outlay. Most do it as they like speedway and it does improve brand awareness but not really sales i am afraid. Speedway will never draw large Multi National Sponsors to it. Look at the list of the SGP and see how many stay around for long ???? From what i believe even Monster dont put a lot of Money through the door. Speedway is pretty much the low end of Motorsport and to even try and compare it with the likes of F1 is pretty silly.

Oh Dear !!!! Are you having a Jolly . Not noticed Bmth are top of the championship and sell out every game as last year. Southampton is just up the rd too. Also your area is 50x larger than ours. Never heard so much Bull rubbishe and all because your promoters cant promoter or the area does not want Speedway yes agree with a lot you say but the sport has got itself into this position and needs to get itself out. Decent promoters are what is needed. Did you not see the Poole main team sponsor went bust, This has caused a massive hole in funds but do you see Matt moaning or looking to build a team to a low budget in 2015 ? No he is already doing new deals with existing and new sponsors for next year to build a top team once again. This is the differance between Poole and other teams, Poole is run as a business

How wrong. Poole promote the product and sport well. The results show and and all the other promotors want to know the secret and even ask at the agm as if its something speacial. The answer is hard work and being able to sell the product to fans and sponsors. Fed up with all the excuses from other clubs and people because they are useless at their job and then moan about it !!!!

Poole have always had a good crowd and still do today due to the fact Matt does promote, build a good team to any points limit and most of all have a very loyal fan and sponsor base. However crowds are down around 30 % to say 2003 when they had a great team but are still the best in the country. Riders want to come to Poole as they are looked after and most importantly paid !!!! Add a good staduim, fans and sponsors and you can see why. Team sport, F1, Motorcross, Moto GP, WSB, WRC, Nascar, Dakar, the list is endless. Birmingham seemed to annoy all the fans who then didnt turn up and eastbourne had a very boring team and no proper promotion. We seem to be at opposite ends, i see the way forward to be more high risk rather than the same old same old. If it stays as it is with a poor product and yearly increases to attend where will it end ????

Fans watch all sorts of motorsport and football when one team dominates so not a valid point. Why have these teams gone ? Poor promotors and poor teams, no other reason really. If Poole had a great team or any other team did fans would come to watch the best. People are fed up with paying top dollar to watch rubbish and you may be surprised how many people come. As has been proved weakening all the time and prices going up does not WORK !!!! So what your saying is you cant work out who is who with only four riders

Your talking total tosh, do you mean the people who had dodge money and then disappeared like their companys ???? Like him or not he does a good job for Poole and yes he Promotes unlike most who are useless at it and blame all their woes on Poole.
