Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
ColinMills replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
scott/emil scuffle got full page in daily star? so Tai makes four tiny lines in the sun, a tv interview, radio interview, but what has his success brought to british speedway financially? wheres the benefits? if he wanted to help boost "british speedway" do the british final, the ben fund? when he IS in this country, turn up at tracks and meet fans with his trophy for pics (paid for by promoter of the night)? no one will convince me, it would effect his title bid, by riding in the british final. yes it would be a tight schedule, but hes a speedway rider, its what they do! -

when the arrogant lad said "i done more for british speedway than anybody will in the next 10 yrs" maybe you could let me know what he has done for "british speedway"....(not himself) for "british speedway"? is the sport having an upturn here? if so,im missing it somehow!! -

agree at this stage, but most promoters will need to re-declare for any play off hopes, and hopefully Horton can realise what a balls up hes made, and grab his final chance to give Coventry the team they deserve! -

put king out of his and our misery! -
nothing wrong with this post, simple opinioned post I thought

i watched from centre green and totally disliked it, you are always turning round to watch the race and seeing it at eye level is nowhere near as good as up high. the closeness though is a bonus, you can feel the power of the bikes. its similar if you stand at eastbourne starting gate position

whilst i agree with above post, its gimmicks, the actual sport itself needs those things, as the racing on offer no longer appears to be enough

dont thinkyou will witness a more boring meetin g than the 91 world final in gothenberg!
-
i think league racing is quite boring, quite often...next time you stand on the terrace just look around at massive empty spaces, no atmosphere, and count how many races that evening are follow the leader. if your team wins, you probably notice less. id say gp"s and world cup certainly isn't boring. 4 riders throwing it about and a bit of passion. watch harris reaction after a gp race win he punch the air, slap his petrol tank, it means more, and if it means more passion and atmosphere is automatic as it rubs off into the crowds

LIARS......the fact they couldnt even tell a simple truth, and give a cock n bull story about the weather sums them 2 up perfectly!

Periscope. A Promoters Nightmare App.
ColinMills replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
really dont think speedway would be effected by this streaming myself. if people are interested theyd simply go. you can follow speedway updates, these people like speedway, but not enough to go, and think anyone looking at some poor quality streaming are probably the same...of course i have no statistics on this matter, just an opinion.
