  1. why don't you get yourself down to the appropriate thread, and "discuss" how "lazy" us brits are at working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. of course it is only imo.....think attendances ranging from "400" at some places kinda back this up "imo"
  3. spot on, said it for months and months...gp and world cup is PROPER speedway...it works because we have lock tight rules, passion, "proper team" no rider sharing rubbish...league speedway is not dying, its dead, imo
  4. no secret im no Louis fan, but im still in touch with a few old friends from Foxhall. Sport is a results business (yes entertainment as well). it appears you not getting either. Surely any manager/promoter has to be judged on his word? so im asking, where is the asset base promised?...6 years ago he promised to "rebuild the witches"?...any signs? i first went in 1971, the league position is lowest i known in 45 years!....he stated "we will go back to elite when time is right"? how weak has the elite got to be before "the time is right"? each of the 6 yrs you been told "we can win the league"....all these comments are CL not mine....having spoke to Guy a couple of times, its such a shame hes not going to be taking over...yet...
  5. billy janniro, henka gustafason, danny king, dave Morton, chris pusey, john boulger, john titman, doug wyer
  6. cant believe king wasting his time and money going to Germany!
  7. only seen snippets on phone/you tube, but yes, it looks an amazing modern day speedway track, with many passing line, unlike your old track
  8. saw great race thru phone video, quality of pic wasn't good, but could tell it looks a lovely place
  9. on eurosport tomorrow dinner time if missed it
  10. been following this lindgren discussion. its a very weak league to judge anybodies true form, think its best judged by other leagues...imo..but yeah, looked good tonight.... just as said pre match, done enough to keep unchanged team. is that a good thing? king had a decent match, is one in three enough to keep people happy?
  11. its a no win for bees tonight, a loss is going to put Coventry in an awful league position, but a narrow win (at best) would mean the management, would be even more unlikey to make a change!
  12. remember being at poole in 98, pre success period...fickle is the correct word!
  13. without bringing footy into this, look at aston villa crowds? of course fans will stay away. its not rocket science the starting line up couldn't compete, yet Horton is filmed on you tube practice day, trying to hoodwink his public, by saying Coventry are the best team behind poole and belle vue! the bloke is an idiot
  14. yes, I get the riders dilemma, and the shortage of riders, but when you go watch your "team" and you find your star rider missing because he is wearing another race jacket is awful
  15. yeah agree, certain promoters like poole/boro will not sit on their hands, others, APPEAR too
  16. most sportsmen need to earn money, but will never be convinced by d/u, detest its introduction to a "team sport"
  17. that's fair comment, I'm no rob 72 who will go on and on.......
  18. not the best of tracks that produce good racing. whereas, wolves, somerset, likely to be worth viewing
