Could be an interesting end to the season for Plymouth, as they do look to have a very solid team.

Leicester V Rye House 29.05.17

I'm not surprised Ellis was unhappy at Danny Ayres as he was very forceful in turn 1 (Which IMO is completely stupid with the track conditions), Perks chased him down the back straight went in too hot and lost the back end. Pretty sure there was no intention to put Danny Ayres into the airfence. -

Fair play to the Leicester track staff for getting the track into a racing condition, when we got to the track at 12 it was a complete mess. An excellent win for the Rockets who battled all the way to pick up a well deserved 3 points, a very solid team performance with everyone chipping in. 6/7 Rockets all managed to register at least one race win each. Branford seems to be struggling for pace and didn't really look to get any more than the one point that he got. Scott changed something drastically in his last three heats, as he was woeful in his first two. Hopefully more of the same when we travel to Kings Lynn on the 7th June (Not Holding my Breath). UP THE ROCKETS. robert72 please explain why Perks should have been thrown out of the meeting? -

About as likely as we are to get any away points... -
Hurry will clean up in many meeting when he gets back to racing fitness back.

That's what I was thinking
-
Obviously the signing hasn't been approved by the BSPA?
-
I think everybody already knows, judging by the discussion that is already happening... It will be interesting to see what his average actually is when the new averages for Lakeside are posted on the BSPA.

Birmingham V Buxton Wed 24th May

Should be a home win for Birmingham. There should be some interesting battles between JPB, Carr, Clegg and Williamson -
I think the league benefits from riders like Paul Hurry, it gives the league a more competitive look and he will give then younger riders in the team e.g Hunter and Bowell very valuable knowledge.

Kings Lynn V Rye House 24/5/17

Cant imagine Rye getting any more than 35 here unfortunately... -
It definitely makes the Hammers far stronger .

Somerset: Jake Allen, Josh Grajczonek, Cameron Heeps, Patrick Hougaard, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Charles Wright BMR Rockets: Rob Branford, Chris Harris, Edward Kennett, Scott Nicholls, Ellis Perks or guest, Stuart Robson, Rory Schlein (guest)/Ricky Wells I fear for the Rockets home and away here with Somerset's Reserves pairing. Hopefully I'm wrong and our 1-5 can get us out of trouble...
-
Clegg would be eligible as his new Championship average is 3.10
-
Add JPB to that list
-
Nathan Greaves Joe Jacobs Adam Roynon Oliver Greenwood Max Clegg Brendan Johnson Not taking into account averages or Kings Lynn's NL Budget- but they are riders that come to mind.

Thank You "King Copy & Paste" as helpful as ever..

Poole Pirates Vs Rye House Rockets 10/5/17
JamesM09 replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm afraid our weaknesses in the team showed again last night. Yes you could argue that RR for Robson and the injury to perks hurt us a bit but realistically would this have made much difference to the score line? No I don't think so. Harris again put in an impressive display but as for Nicholls and EK well... Lets be fair when you score 11 points between your number 1&5 your in trouble. Without a big hitting number 1 or a solid reserve I really cant see this team going anywhere unfortunately. Hoping for a better display when we travel to Somerset, Kings Lynn and Leicester and pick up some valuable away points. Hopefully Ellis Perks injury is not too serious. -
Brilliant Signing! The promotion had to make a change if the club is going to make a push for the play-off's this season.

Your better off parking at Broxbourne, cheaper train and loads of parking around the back -
Fully agree Waco, a strong reserve can make or break teams. I've always said you wont win a meeting without reserves.

Rye House Vs Swindon 08.04.17

Congratulations to the Robins on a fully deserved victory last night, they had 5 riders fully up to the task. As expected RR helped them massively, If they had Adam Ellis riding it could have been a different story. As for the Rockets weak links showed tonight, Davey Watt dosent look remotely interested or any where near quick enough to be riding at this level.Stuart Robson's early scores have also been poor admittedly unlucky with the exclusion in his first ride. The reserves in my opinion did their job but when your second strings are not scoring the pressure builds on them which is exactly what this team dosent want. Chris Harris also had a bit of an off night only scoring 7+1. Cant argue with the EK (8) and SN (12) . Lets see if we can pull of the unexpected on Thursday. Up The Rockets!
