  1. The deal has been done, the Cookie Monster returns!
  2. It recalls a story which took place at the home of GLASGOW SPEEDWAY, that's how it has something to do with the club. However, I asked you what your point was I. Your post, rather than say it wasn't relevant.
  3. There was also one in the stadium on Taggart a couple of years back. And there was plenty on track last year when the weej came calling. So what's your point?
  4. Should have been 7, but he shut off last bend to let a teammate on a TR through into third in two of the meetings!
  5. Sedgy hit 7.00 during last season (peaking at 7.32 I think it was), or does it have to be a final season average? But it would be killer for him to be rejected since his average is 6.99 now.
  6. Your right, but obviously a captain needs to be named, and I think Craig is the right candidate Unless Stormy does come back, then matty is the obvious choice!
  7. Not a bad shout, but had heard that stormy was thinking about packing in speedway. Not had that confirmed though so maybe not.
  8. I agree, IMO the 5-6 point rider is the crucial one! Cook (captain) Sedgy Wolbert 5.90 (the likes of Anders Thomsen on good kit or a 5.00 rider with potential who becomes an asset - pity we are 0.06 off Todd Kurtz) Masters Clegg Branford I can see us being unbeaten at home again this season, maybe even a couple of away wins at the likes of Rye House. Should be in the mix for play-off places.
  9. Rob Branford has signed up to Partner Clegg at reserve. Welcome to Scotland Rob!
  10. That's fair enough, but I think he will have a good season this year and get back to his best of he has the support That's my honest opinion, but obviously everyone is entitled to their own.
  11. I'm sure there is a 2.5% reduction for riders in their first 3 years (I think it's 3) after they leave the NL.
  12. Funnily enough he was a "proper number 1" for Edinburgh in 2010 when we won the league with a + 10.00 average. Only scoring Under 12 away from home 2/3 times, and even then he was still hitting 9 or 10. (Including 15 Max at Redcar and 14 at Kings Lynn) Even at home he got double figures 9 out of 10 weeks. I was gutted when he left, but we couldn't fit him in anymore, and we gave cookie a call, which I'm glad of!
  13. That's possibly why Howarth signed instead of a seven pointer, so that they had the points left to put MC up to the 5.00 that he came over on if need be?
  14. All those points to play with and you bring back someone who isn't up for putting 100% in for you....
  15. I forgot all about Simota tbh! Would still be a decent enough team!
  16. Fisher 7.89 T. Kurtz 5.96 Risager 7.36 Newman 6.51 R. Worrall 7.32 Benko 3.00 St. Neilsen 4.34 42.34 Decent looking team. Kurtz will probably be a rebel but the rest are realistic.
  17. No differently to how they are viewed already then?
  18. Don't know why your so negative? That's a good first 3 Signings IMO. If you can add 4 other good riders then your laughing!
  19. Fisher 7.89 Wethers 5.50 Kerr 7.54 Mellgren 6.57 Lindgren 7.12 or Pijper 7.09 S. Lambert 3.73 Rose 4.15 42.50 or 42.47 Maybe unrealistic, but would be good on paper
  20. That actually looks an decent team. Every rider could up their average and give Plymouth a decent season. Possible play off material if it clicks well.
  21. At the start of the season? Edinburgh 2014. Just July onwards we didn't have power at reserve.
  22. Can see Newcaste possibly being interested. He rides Brough well and they might want an experienced head to replace Robbo.
