  1. Bet all the Elite club will have their fingers crossed that that won't happen, will reduce his free time for guesting!
  2. I had this conversation on Friday night with someone. It leaves less pressure on him and it means he can then push on to get that #1 jacket back.
  3. Is there any particular incident you can refer to or are you tarnishing all staff members with the same brush? (FWIT I'm a staff member, as part of the admin team, and we constantly get drilled into us to be helpful to our customers, ie the fans of both teams)
  4. An excellent day for all involved! Over £1700 raised for Ricky. Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation, the players and the supporters who turned up to watch. It couldn't have been done without any of them and hopefully Ricky can put the money in a pot with even more money after his big day 👍 Final Score: Edinburgh Monarchs 9-1 Glasgow Tigers
  5. We have decided to just ask for a donation to enter the ground on Saturday (There will be no set fee.) There wil also be a raffle ongoing, aswell as a home-baking stall, with all proceeds going to Ricky. Looking forward to it now!
  6. For your good selves, yes it was! Not quite as impressive as last year though....
  7. Yes, Matty started the 2011 season on a 7.04 average, and I'm sure it's been higher than that at points. *2011 Scotwaste Monarchs' team so far: Kevin Wolbert (Germany) 7.96, Matthew Wethers (captain, Australia) 7.04, Andrew Tully (Scotland) 6.68, Ashley Morris (England) 3.00. Points remaining 17.82.* EDIT: He started 2009 on a 7.30 average.
  8. There's rumours of a couple Berwick loans, but I cannot confirm not deny about Newcastle.
  9. 14th of March 2015 Murieston Sports Complex (Murieston United Community Football Club). Livingston. K/O 2 PM. This will, as much as possible, take the form of Edinburgh Fans vs Glasgow Fans, but neutrals are welcome to play and choose a side. Entry as a player is £20 p/p, and spectator fees will be announced in due course. The game will be refereed by a former Scottish senior football official and current speedway referee Willie Dishington.. JAMES GRIEVES has agreed to captain the Tigers team, with DEREK SNEDDON captaining the monarchs. Other players include current Tigers team manager Stewart Dickson and former Tiger Scott Courtney. We are looking to get as many people involved as possible and to get as many people along on the day to raise enough funds to present to Ricky at his big day. There will hopefully be current Glasgow and Edinburgh riders in attendance on the day mingling among the crowd as well as members of the promotion of both clubs.
  10. It's already been confirmed by the promotion that the Polish club have agreed Craig's British commitments come first.
  11. Worked out we would have 16.12 left if we had to replace Sam & Justin, and there's no way we would be anything but 1.50/2.00 under the limit with what is left. Not many options out there and everyone clamouring for the same eligible riders.
  12. hardly any of note. Todd Kurtz will be in demand I guess. (I think he has DN, but don't quote me on that)
  13. Ahh, but Newcastle won the league cup, so were they not invited as winners of that. :-)
  14. I didn't think he was that young, I agree the 25/26 date of birth is the more likely one, just wonder how the rules allow it?
  15. Speedway results have his date of birth as.... 1998-05-26
  16. And If he didn't make the gate he pulled up before he even finished a lap..... Surely someone comfortable around a track would try passing the home boys?
  17. If they are using 7.00 for holder, they will have 4.64 (I think) for the last man.
  18. The match will be on the 14th of March 2015, at Murieston Sports Complex (Murieston United Community Football Club). Kick off 2 PM. More details will be announced nearer the time.
  19. We at edinburgh would be very grateful if you stayed up, we love having him up here!
  20. Wee benkos compatriot, Joe Tabaka?
  21. No he came over and became an Edinburgh asset and we sold him to Redcar to fund the purchase of Craig Cook from Workington.
