  1. I got a letter, despite having my edinburgh jacket on, so unsure if there was an order to give only to glasgow fans or not...
  2. we are probably about as safe as most clubs in British speedway who don't own their stadium are. The danger is always lurking but for the most part we are okay.
  3. Dead in the water - the Sainsburys bid was rejected in favour of the new asda (I think) at the other end of the town.
  4. Someone who has him on facebook mentioned tonight that Stevie is on holiday, though I'm not 100% sure if that's true or not!
  5. For fear of everyone lynching me if I quote the above post (it's no short story) il just do this.... ^^ you never fail to disappoint KJ ^^
  6. Is the rule not only in place whilst the riders team is still in, so now Klindt is okay as Sheffield are out? I may be wrong though?
  7. Not been watching since the start (came in for heat 8) but it seems like the BV riders (Cook and Zagar apart) are trying to stick to the inside and being easy prey for the Poole riders round the outside, has this been the same since the start?
  8. Think the crowd on Saturday will be terrible! But in all seriousness I hope that Sunday is a cracking meeting, despite the scoreline from tonight. :-)
  9. Neither Edinburgh nor Somerset would be available on a Friday so that wouldn't work? (Interestingly they face each other at Armadale the night after the fours in the KO cup final, with the first leg at the OTA on the Tuesday I think it is?)
  10. As one of those who was astonished with our win on Sunday, I think tonight will be a step too far without smiler. 52-41 to Somerset IMO. Cookie making a TR work at some point during the course of the meeting.
  11. Is that rule not only for doubling down? If it is then it wouldn't affect THJ.
  12. http://m.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/speedway/monarchs-director-to-build-speedway-training-track-1-3847523 Great news for everyone involved, looking forward to take a couple of trips through when completed! Also hope Glasgows plans go ahead, good luck to them!
  13. Could fit Adam Ellis in for Dimitri I think? honestly can't remember if the rules say he can stay with Brum or not, so that could maybe be a stumbling block.
  14. Interesting that we are going back to Sedgy at #2. Him and Kevin were a very effective pairing in the engine room of the team! Hopefully the new pairings work out!
  15. Well done to the Witches! Had your lads down as dark horses and thankfully they delivered!
  16. I think what he means is that you can only sign an EL second string (i don't think there are any heat leaders under 6.00 in the EL)
  17. I'm not 100% sure, but I think he meant Dak North was much older, rather than Max.
  18. Probably depends on how the meeting is going. If your leading comfortably they might just give Garcia an extra ride to learn the track. If its tight then whoever is going best on the night will be in, id probably be expecting it to be Edberg.
  19. You may be right, the track might suit him better once he's dialled in and if he's scoring good points at home, it could give him confidence to score points away as well. Will make a note to watch his progress from now until the end of the season.
