  1. A draw is an excellent result for the monarchs at a tricky place to visit! Winning streaks gone, but still unbeaten. Well done boys!
  2. Guessing it's a mistake. Although stranger things have happened
  3. He was even better to watch in his better nights at Armadale, never seen anyone else as impressive hugging the white line!
  4. Realised that May have been the case after I posted, didn't realise the new averages were so soon!
  5. How can Mills (3.05) replace Greenwood (3.00) with a greater average when Newcastles total is over 42.5?
  6. Funnily enough the last couple of weeks I've had that theory, but I genuinely believe we will lose tomorrow.
  7. On Friday night the Tigers make the short trip east to face Edinburgh. 4 out of 4 derbies have been won by Edinburgh so far this season, and the Monarchs aim to keep their place at the top of Scottish speedway. , Predicted line ups: Edinburgh Monarchs: 1. Craig Cook 2. Justin Sedgmen 3. Max Fricke 4. Derek Sneddon © 5. Sam Masters 6. Aaron Fox 7. Steve Worrall Glasgow Tigers: 1. Kevin Wolbert 2. Dimitri Berge R/R 3. Mark Lemon 4. Theo Pijper 5. Rusty Harrison 6. Kasper Lykke Nielsen 7. Anders Thomsen
  8. The confusing thing about it is that he is brilliant around the big PL tracks (Worky, Sheffield and Berwick in particular) but can't seem to generate any power to pass on the big EL tracks. He does seem too eager to gate in the EL aswell, which earns his 'gating tart' tag. In the PL he is a quick gater, but is perfectly able to come from the back on any track.
  9. Agreed Cookie is excellent around Leicester, but he is also at Berwick!
  10. True! We certainly won't last the whole season unbeaten, and it just takes one loss to encourage other teams that it can be done! Aslong as Sunday is a good meeting, nobody can complain!
  11. Did he not retire before turning a wheel at the start of 2013 after being declared in a team? Maybe thinking of someone else.
  12. 1) If I remember him saying correctly, it was going to be okay for the season but then something else happened and he ended up out for longer. 2) Riding back home in Germany for AC Landshut. Not sure of his other commitments though, maybe Denmark but not sure.
  13. Mitchell is still recovering this year and is spannering for Claus Vissing, and Imo Marcel would be a steady 3.00 rider for you, will score his average 9 weeks out of 10. Irving retired at the start of last season aswell did he not?
  14. That first lap was a belter! Never seen anything quite like it before! And I had the disappointment to hear someone say the racing was poor tonight? RUBBISH!
  15. Excellent Victory for the lads! Craig was as exciting as always. Justin was impressive in the first half of the meeting. Max scored well and was unlucky in heat 15. Derek wasn't great, but still did his job well. Sam was terrific in his first 3 rides, just gated poorly in heat 13. Aaron was the star man IMO, considering his injuries. Steve did well and carried on scoring above his average, can see him and Justin swapping again next set of averages. The fact that 3 riders scored 30 of the diamonds 38 points is disappointing, but I really think they are now weaker with King rather than stronger. Hopefully they can makes changes in the next averages that will strengthen them again.
  16. Ryan McDonald is Guesting for Schramm tonight instead of Crang.
  17. Joking aside, I actually think our first defeat will come on Sunday, our luck can't last forever. And there is no worse way than to lose a winning streak to your rival.
  18. Can see this being our first loss of the season. Be right back, there's a man in a lab coat at my door....
  19. Hopefully find out early enough to get our normal go-to NL rider, James Sarjeant, on the phone.
  20. My luck suggests this may actually happen. Better not, I'm skint!
  21. Is this confirmed? If so then good news! Luke is one of the riders who I couldn't wait to see in action as I've heard good things about him, and Aaron deserves to carry on from where he left off last week. The battles between the monarchs and their opposite numbers will be good.
