  1. Think overall those changes weaken the Panthers, but there wasn't a lot of options for you guys. Dilger is hit or miss, mostly miss.
  2. Atleast 4, if not more due to cup draws/playoffs, of your fixtures will have to be other days anyway, so maybe the promotion had that in mind and chose a night that you wouldn't have need for a second race night, although it turns out you do.
  3. Monarchs: 1. Cook - Just about carried on from last season, not as dominant as last year, but not relied on as much for those points. 2. Sedgmen - Really proved himself to me this season. Can be inconsistent away from home, but brilliant to watch at the dale'. Would have back next year. 3. Fricke - Settled into the HL role I thought he would struggle in. Some low scores dotted about, but matured brilliantly. First name on the team sheet for next year hopefully. 4. Worrall - Bargain average of the season! Levelled out now he's +7.00, but still a manageable average for him home & away every week. Solid scorer. Possibility for next season. 5. Masters - Was more predominant on away tracks at the start, but finally sorted his Dale' gear out & now is flying! More of the same and would also have him back next year! 6. Fox - Done what's expected of him at home recently, won some important heats & showed his talent. Struggling on away circuits as he's seeing them for the first time, but overall on a good average for next season! 7. Sneddon - Dome his job this year, but can always throw in a disappointing ride. Needs to kick on at reserve but I can't see the same scoring power as Worrall/Sedgmen.
  4. Possibly thinking he could get a low enough average for next year on crappy kit and then he can bring good kit over and clean up at reserve? Clever! Although I have to admit I was looking forward to seeing him in action...
  5. Technically yes, as the helmet colour in final, and therefore gate positions, are decided by semi positions.
  6. For a PL individual meeting, that's a fairly good line up IMO. Fair enough it could be better, but most of the line up is evenly matched, so there could be a few good battles. I would love to see a few stars riding, but there's just not the glitz & glam (or cash) available for that, so this is a realistic line up for what we have. Note: Garrity is out & replacement yet to be named (or found possibly) and Konopka is number 5.
  7. Just because Edinburgh get away with using Richie disguised as Stevie, doesn't mean it will work the other way
  8. I thought it would be more than that, but I suppose he had a tough average to keep up on new tracks to him. Good starting average for him for you next season, I must admit.
  9. Any idea what Danny's new average will be? I'm guessing maybe around the 10.00 mark?
  10. I doubt team GB management would be happy if SS was to ride tomorrow night and end up injured, but I see your point. It's not perfect, but the Sheffield promotion probably didn't expect SS to get a GB call up when they accepted the booking.
  11. Difference between the two meetings was that the FTG on Wednesday was a poor track, and the FTG tonight was that the bandits as a team were poor. If they had been better, it would have been a good meeting.
  12. Scunthorpe would have been good for the pairs this year as a neutral venue.
  13. That's the same thought I had when I read it, I don't think we will lose at home, but stranger things have happened!
  14. The number of times we've met this season and Sam and Justin still don't have nicknames.... shocking!
  15. They can't ride PL if they ride in Poland I thought? Sure it was Piszc that caused that rule to come into play a few years ago. RP didn't get a polish team hence why he turned up at Redcar.
  16. The Monarchs welcome Rye House to Armadale this Friday looking to extend their unbeaten run of matches. Expected line ups: Edinburgh: 1. Craig Cook (Britains #2) 2. Justin Sedgmen 3. Max Fricke 4. Derek Sneddon 5. Sam Masters 6. Aaron Fox 7. Steve Worrall Rye House: 1. Edward Kennett 2. Luke Bowen 3. Mathieu Tresarrieu 4. Steve Boxall 5. Jason Garrity 6. Jason Bunyan 7. Stefan Neilsen/Guest TBC
  17. Think stead will take a couple of points off of Cookie and star again for Sheffield, but the 7 monarchs should enough to comfortably progress to the next round, wether we win or not.
  18. Matej is said to be receiving wrestling lessons from the Honduras National football team :-)
  19. Tom Perry has out on Facebook that he's one reserve tonight, who's the other??
  20. Has there been any word on the two reserves for tomorrow?
  21. Glasgow seem to have guest galore most seasons at Armadale in the Scottish cup. This was last years attempt. 1. Ricky Wells (G) 2. Ryan Douglas (G) 3. James Grieves - 4. Ashley Morris (G) - 5. Thomas Jorgensen (G) - 6. Joe Jacobs - 7. James McBain (G) - Result Courtesy Of MONARCHS CHATZONE Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/12928/edinburgh-glasgow-11th-october-2013#ixzz34iYcq2vc
