  1. The only flaw in that idea is that we are already at Peterbourgh that Sunday, in the league cup final 1st leg. Newcastle are supposedly asking us to change it though.
  2. Guessing the winner of this will be at Armadale next Friday with the second leg on the Sunday? Not looked at fixture lists or anything, but makes logical sense.
  3. If your wanting a big #1, then you need to fill the rest of your team with riders who can improve their averages, as Edinburgh did this season. We got lucky with Worrall and Sedgmen the main examples.
  4. I know it wasn't quite a merger as such, but the same thing would probably happen if the teams merged.
  5. If he decides to do grass track again next season, Berwick may have to use R/R at home quite a few times..
  6. Basically been there, done that, and it went horribly wrong. (Scottish Monarchs 1995)
  7. Max Clegg just posted on facebook that he is guesting tonight. He didn't say who for, but Presumably it will be Fox or Edberg.
  8. Guessing Morten Risager, as Ippos second highest averaged rider, will replace him?
  9. The most used example: Are Swansea & Cardiff in the English leagues? In my opinion If scotland becomes independent and then both the Monarchs and Tigers want to stay in the league, I can't see the BSPA in it's current state saying no way.
  10. Have to say, this is getting my vote if there is a "preview of the season" competition. Top class comedy! :-)
  11. atleast 5/6 of those FTG's were monarchs gating & the bandits not even looking like giving passing a go, preferring to fight each other for 3rd. Still not a great track for passing tonight.
  12. Would you believe it happened again? Berwick need to teach their riders the T/R rule. *Substitute Bellego for Kus and Doolan for Jensen.*
  13. Why wouldn't Berwick challenge another team breaking the rules though? Surely if it was the other way around you would expect our management to challenge it? And Matty can't be blamed for the crash IMO, he went in hard but there's no way he would have expected to pick up that much drive. Agree re Kus & Jensen. Looked nasty!
  14. I was referring to his current average of 3.20, not his 5.00 average.
  15. Aaron IS good enough. Constantly scoring double his average around the dale, and as soon as he starts learning more about away track, (most of which he was seeing for the first time) he will start staying more away. I Also think the Same will happen with VP, who looks like he can be a steal on a lower average next year. I wouldnt brand about the phrase "not good enough" until the rider has had a couple of years and doesn't look like improving.
  16. That's the furthest north he's been in a while, absolutely hates going any further up
  17. The Edinburgh promotion begged Horton to take him so they got some income from a loan fee? We are skint seemingly
  18. Roynon and Hall as second strings clicking could be key, but if they don't then big responsibility on Bjerre and Dryml as #1 and #3 (I presume, unless shall goes to #3)
