Shame Wolves were so hit by injuries in the play-off Semis but they had a great season and will soon have the world champion. Brummies were awesome, real team effort. Having finished top of the league definitely favourites for the final which will sit easy with the team. If the brummies top 5 perform as I expect, think it will be a narrow win for them at Poole and a big win at home. Was stunned Poole got through and congratulations to them. Do think Hans injury and an off form Troy and Ed didn't help. Will be an interesting final just think trump cards for Brummies are Doyle at 2, Barker at 4 and Harris who is making a mockery of his 7 average. Thought Morris, Killer and for his first three heats howarth gave it there all.

This match is over as Swindon will win at Poole no question. Stronger team all year don't think anyone can question that. As for Tungate being out and R/R being in place clearly it makes Poole weaker as they have to have rides taken by riders with lower averages. Will be great to see world class riders like Ward, Hancock and Andersen one last time before the league changes and teams can no longer fit riders above 8points at all. Still it will stop the substantial anti-Poole brigade on here moaning about Poole having holder and ward as the league will have neither!!!! Hoping the Brummies seal a finals berth tonight. Wow Matt Ford is the permanent villain. What surprises me is that everything seems to rest with him. Am surprised as isn't the lakeside promoter the chair!!!! If there had been a case to answer it would of happened by now. Will be sorry not to see the 9pt riders in the elite league next year but needs must. At least Brummies will hopefully have Harris on a bargain average. Am surprised no posters have said anything about his average dropping so much while not at his parent club. Am absolutely sure if it was a loaned Poole rider there would have been outrage!!!! Go you Brummies so want our first Elite title!!!!

Sorry it's done and dusted after the first leg of the play-offs. Brummies and Swindon to easily make the final. Well done to Wolves and Poole for making it but just a step to far. Think Brummies will win by 10 and Swindon to win by 2 at Poole with Killer back.

Am new to this but have read posts for a long time now and it would be great to talk speedway rather than the nonsense that is pretty much a repeat cycle from some posters on here. Think everyone should realise all teams in the elite league try to do things to gain an advantage. Rules are weak so it's not difficult. The branding of cheating is thrown around all the time but its possible to question things at all teams. Just wish those on here would stick to facts not conjecture. Most is just made up and it seems game number 1 is have a go at Poole. I am not a fan of poole but one wish that will come true to you all is the end of the 8pt to 9pt heat leader in this country (no ward, lindgren, holder, woffinden, batchelor, Andersen, Zagar etc) as it unbalances the team and with possibly a new lower points limit will not be feasible. So it's funny you all laugh at teams like Poole and Wolves for having unbalanced teams but these 9pt heat leaders are awesome to watch especially when they miss the gate. Enough said and good luck to the Brummies you know you can do it!!!!!!

Think Harris was certainly going for a gap that wasn't there in Heat 15, hope NKI is ok. Talking of Harris he has got a very low average for his ability now and will be really in demand next season. Surely back with the bees I reckon.

Some good racing but predictable outcomes. Hope Morris is ok for PL play offs. Surely EL promoters will realise you can't win when you declare your team at the start of the year with 9 point heat leaders makes you too weak at the bottom end as Wolves and Poole are seeing.
