Berwick 2017 50th Year
Shirl replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The season he spent at Leicester he was great, truly inspirational to the younger riders giving them advice Always 150% on the bike and a great sportsman all this this with a smile on his face. Good luck to you Kevin you deserve it just a shame your not doubling up with the lions this year. Shirl -
If you do tell your dad to bring his bikes along too I'm sure Lebedevs would enjoy watching him too as we all did at Blackbird road Great on the track and really good with us in the pits after the meeting Like I said earlier a Legend

Absolute Legend

Isn't it about time we let the Howarth /Auty debate drop. On their day they are both capable of beating anybody and it's great they are two very gutsy British riders. I don't think it matters who is the best but I'm glad that Josh is riding for the lions again this season then on the other hand I'd be happy to have Kyle in our team too. Thanks Shirl
-
Gem I doubt very much he would buy one anyway
-
Thank you very much for frank and honest account of things as they were I can understand why it's taken so long for someone to come on here with factual information Perhaps it may stop people coming on here spouting drivel Once again thank you Steve

If she was sitting on your lap why would you be looking at a speedway forum anyway Just a thought

Trouble is Al when they arrive the innkeeper won't let them in cos it's Friday (open only on a Saturday) There seems to be a lack of wise men as they've followed the only star we've ever had to Swindon So all we're left with is the Donkey or maybe 7 donkey's and little in the way of Christmas cheer Shirl

Following those comments maybe sectioned under the mental health act Perhaps 9k is not enough

I agree it's not right but my point was that any manager would have done the same. It was his call, if you are the manager you will do anything you can to win a meeting and if that means bending the rules a bit where you can you will. Rosco is no shrinking violet and to know that his team lost at home to the leagues bottom team he was never going to let the lions do the double over them. It was a massive result for the lions at Swindon.Just need to get all the team performing at the same time Shirl

I can't believe we are still discussing Rohan Tungates shoulder a week after the event If rules can be bent at bit they will be and knowing how well Doyley goes round here why wouldn't they give him an extra outing Any manager would do the same, didn't he make a wrong decision the Thursday before when the lions won at the abbey. I didn't see many whinging when Brady Kurtz (guest ) bagged a load to win us the fixture. What goes round comes round, that's life Get over it and move on Shirl

Spot on Al You maybe right you maybe wrong but the fact is that if you have got a good product people will come and watch and a sucessful team puts bums on seats. It takes a brave person to admit they got it wrong or made a wrong decision but it takes a bigger person to make those changes to get the right result I think mr and Mrs Hemsley have to thanked in there part for bringing speedway back to Leicester but like you said earlier do not live with your heads in the sand and ignore those around you that maybe know better Shirl Maybe he struggling with Black Country accent

Its the only likes he gets I wonder which village he sprang from. As every village has one!
-
Hey at the end of the day it's sport and it's about results and a win is a win Fair play to rosco but the riders still have to go out a do the job and tonight with Doyley in your team around BP you are always going to do well. The lions did great on Thursday albeit with the inclusion of Brady Kurtz so what goes round comes round. Nicolai again puts a shift in Hats off to Jason Doyle if only we had him a number 1 this season, very professional and 150% every time he get on the bike

52 on the back nine Shocking

Swindon Robins V Leicester Lions 02/06
Shirl replied to Sidney the robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well done to the lions Don't think any of us lions fans would have expected that result Well done nicolai klindt our most consistent performer by far and to Brady Kurtz (not really a lion but maybe one that got away) Credit to Norrie for managing to get him as a guest. Just need the rest of the boys to step up and hopefully there's better things around the corner I have to say tho this so called EDR is a complete joke it surely don't do what it's intended to.Time to get rid I reckon Shirl -
Davey may have been shocking but my idiot comment came out of your other ' send him back to Australia 'ridiculous comment. Honestly you must live a sad existence just trolling all day talking about the same drivel every time you post, how many times do you go on about the track,it's not the right shape, the wrong material on it. Well if its that bad and the racing is the same, don't go and don't come on here like a ' Whingin Pommie Barrrstad As Davey might say
-
Correct just confirmed on the website. I reckon Davey is a great signing, bags of experience and from what Ive seen a great team player and great to have round the pits. Good Luck Davey

The problem is Steve since they closed the Towers Hospital, mental health care across the county has become non existent. Valium and straight jackets apparently on sale this season at the track shop
-
Who needs Jeremy Kyle when you've got the lions forum. If the speedway is as good as this when the tapes go up we'll win the league no probs Next please

John Kettley or Michael Fish I wonder
