To be honest, given the attitude in this country that you cannot do anything without a group of nimbys complaining, I am not surprised to hear this. What I do find strange, however, is that very near the stadium is Byford Meadows kart track. This holds "social" karting events as well as proper MSA licensed kart race meetings (the latter at weekends, and - as far as I know - almost 52 weekends a year). Not heard of any noise complaints about that!
