Trust me, i'm not a fan of Verge, but he is worth one more shot. The amount of times he threw away points after he had gated so well was infuriating. Were you at that the 4TT? Basford spent more time on the centre green last season.

He looked very fast. Beaten only by Morley, BWD, Andrews (twice) and Shanes. He scored the same as Shanes and Mountain. He is worth one more chance and I can see Mason getting the best out of him. Rather him than Couzins or Shepherd.

The 2016 side is stronger than the 2015, so for that reason i'm happy. If we have signed the 4TT Verge then i can see us being the surprise package. BYW

I'll take Verge for another season but only if we get Bowen and Widman/Dugard. Do we have enough points left for Boxall, Bowen and a 3pt?!

When you think about it the management haven't really done much so far. We have resigned 2 assets, confirmed Thomas (who we knew had a place anyway) and signed somebody who has been out of the sport for many years (no offence to be taken, good luck to Luke, I think he will turn out to be a great signing). I would have a small wager on the last 3 being Bowen, Widman and Woods. I wouldn't be surprised if Mason and Chapman were in the lineup, and wouldn't we just love Owen?! BYW

i do think there are some riders about who need to realise that they are not cut out for speedway, no matter how many rides they have.

I love Baseby - he is a perfect number 2 - his carried forward average was the problem. We had no support for our top 4 and i don't think our reserves won a NL home heat 2 all season.

we currently have no middle order, that is the problem!
