I was thinking of going to Vojens but changed my mind http://www.speedway.dk/index.php?page=tickets&hl=en_US This link now gives the prices in DKK, when I first saw it online the cost was the same in GBP so I might have a ponder over it again. I did think of deleting the post but it could be helpful for those thinking of going.

I think it's this one http://209.85.229.132/translate_c?hl=en&am...NpWbkIQMAawvXEw I saw this last year on Sat Tv channel CT4 Sport, I think there are about 40 heats with between 4 and 6 riders in each race. It's worth watching if you get the chance. -

In the village of Bursledon where I grew up, the local hero was Charlie May. I can remember him riding in Grass Tracks, Speedway, and even a Motorcycle Gymkhana. Charlie rode for Wembley in 1946 and 1947. It was Birmingham in 1948, and then for 1949 and 1950 he was back in London, this time for Wathamstow He rode for Southampton in 1951. After only 7 matches Southampton closed and Charlie moved to Cardiff until 1953 when Cardiff closed after 12 matches. He then moved to Exeter for the rest of the season. It was back to Southampton from 1954 until 1956 when he retired mid season. I hope these details are correct, they are taken from "British Speedway Leagues 1946 - 1964" by Peter Morrish

Lets just wait for the official results, mistakes happen. As an example, the site quoted has Chris Harris riding for Australia in the next semi. -
