I've only done the completed teams
-
Which teams look good so far and which don't? Berwick-Good solid team with plenty of strength in depth but the lack of a big hitter at number 1 might prove costly in the league. I predict a middle of the league finish but with a push for the play-off's. Edinburgh-I must admit I'd be pretty disappointed with the team if I was an Edinburgh fan with no real third heat leader and a couple of unproven riders. I predict a middle of the league finish from the Monarchs. Glasgow- So far so good for the Glasgow team but I can make my judgement yet as they are incomplete. Ipswich-Pretty solid team with good reserves and a big number 1, with most of the team being last years there wont be much difference in the pits either. I predict a solid play-off finish from the witches next season Newcastle-A good amount of strength in depth and some experience. I think the lack of a big number one doesn't matter as the whole team will chip in for some points. I predict a decent campaign from the Diamonds with a Play-off place, but of course I will . Peterborough-So far so good for the Peterborough team but I can make my judgement yet as they are incomplete. Plymouth-So far so good for the Plymouth team but I can make my judgement yet as they are incomplete. Redcar-A pretty good team from the Bears with good heat leaders and decent reserves but I don't think Wilkinson is a main body rider any more . I predict a Redcar to be in the battle for a play off place next season and I think they will probably get one. Rye House-Spent too many points on a number one which has left the rest of the team too vulnerable. I predict a bottom half finish for this Rockets team. Scunthorpe-So far so good for the Scunthorpe team but I can make my judgement yet as they are incomplete. Sheffield-So far so good for the Sheffield team but I can make my judgement yet as they are incomplete. Somerset-Too top heavy for my liking and they're even weaker since Morris was unfortunately let go. I predict a middle of the table finish for Somerset which is surprising looking at their 2013 success. Workington-A great looking team with strength in depth as well as four riders in the main body all worth of being solid heat leaders. I predict a solid Play off place for Workington in 2014.

A rider who has been riding for workington in the PL and Poole in the EL for exactly the same amount of time? A newcastle asset though. (This is only an example but i'm just trying to be awkward ) -

I'll try to make a sensible team rather than my last suggestion 1. Ryan Fisher 9.52 2. Henning Bager 5.30 3. Ulrich Ostergaard 6.52 4. Dakota North 6.55 5. Lasse Bjerre 7.44 6. 3.13 7. Kasper Lykke 4.04 -
I agree, not worth doing that to someone for anything
-
Nah but i'd be happy with a cup and a place in the playoffs.

Did anything of interest happen at the XMAS party?

What happens if a rider is say a Newcastle asset but he rides for, lets say, workington in the PL and Belle Vue in the El, Who would have priority of the rider? -
Can't be any worse than me If the promotion were feeling really nasty to Harrison they could do this, (not that they will though) 1. Nick Morris 8.84 2. Hynek Stichauer 4.56 ? 3. Theo Pijper 7.70 4. Dimitri Berge 5.00 5. Kevin Wolbert 8.40 6. Joey Ringwood 3.56 7. Anders Thornsen 4.11

I'd love to see Nick Morris get a place some where so how about. I know it's a bit top heavy but, 1. Ryan Fisher 9.52-Big point scorer, loads of experience and a good team captain 2. Kasper Lykke 4.04 or Jake Anderson 3.97-Not the most ideal situation but both have decent potential and if they want to step up here is their opportunity 3. Lasse Bjerre 7.44-Huge potential, big point scorer and club asset i think. 4. Ulrich Ostergaard 6.52-Can be a big point scorer and is a club asset i think. (bargain average IMO) 5. Nick Morris 8.84-One of the PL best riders, huge potential and a big point scorer 6. Oliver Greenwood 3.00? Another NL 3.00?-Could be a lucky time for a young NL rider, Greenwood seems like a great signing on a 3. 7. Robert Lambert 3.00 Another NL 3.00?-I know that R.Lambert is extremely unlikely but another 3.00 would fit in place Other possible 3.00 riders (Max Clegg, Matt Williamson, Jake Knight, Josh Bates or James Sargent) Morris doesn't fit in scunthorpes team anymore -
Actually looking back to my post i have to agree with you, lets change the team now i have got a bit more common sense (clearly) 1. Anton Rosen 8.25ish 2. Stuart Robson 7.00ish 3. Ludvig Lindgren 7.60ish 4. Christian Henry 7.15ish 5. Lewis Kerr 7.50ish 6. Chris Schramm 4.10ish 7. Lewis Rose 4.00ish
-
1. Simon Stead 9.33 2. Andre Compton 4.36 3. Nicolai Klindt 6.93 4. Josef Franc 6.95 5. Adam Roynon 7.81 6. Damian Koppe3.00? or Oliver Greenwood 3.00 7. Facundo Albin 3.62

Glad to see that you want to come to geordieland, good track, good racing, good supporters and good chips I'm sorry but i don't actually live in Newcastle itself . The only time i really visit Newcastle is for the speedway What i would recomend is posting this on the newcastle 2014 thread where actual grordies can give you some advice. Although if you like expense i would recomend the hilton hotel which overlooks the river (filled with trollies and god knows what else ) Sorry for not being much help but there you go. Also congrats on 25 years -
