I did the texting from the track and nowhere does it say Killeen took him out. Ron’s version is close to my own. Cairns moved out just as Killeen arrived on the outside. It was a racing incident. Cairns was in front so ref excluded Killeen could easily have gone the other way to me but I only saw it once when live.
Going to be difficult for the Cheetahs to advance. Boughen wasn’t there for the league match. Lot will depend on whether he and Luke can back up Sam and Scott.
Oxford
Masters Heeps Boughen Jenkins Nicholls Killeen Coles
Glasgow
Harris Smith Rowe Ivacic Flint Pearson Spencer
Oxford with outside chance of finishing top and Glasgow needing a win or at least keeping it close to keep their play off hopes alive.
Edit Glasgow hopes would still be alive regardless of result.
Very close result earlier in the season 46-44 should have been 45-45. Oxford team needed tac sub to win despite Masters and Nicholls only dropping 1 point in 11 rides.
Plymouth had Zach Cook at 1 who scored 4+1 and Newman scored 2. So Edwards and Baek don’t have to score too much if the others can repeat their scores. Bowtell and the Thompsons usually score well at Sandy Lane and Hook has guested several times for the Cheetahs. The positive for Oxford is Heeps and Jenkins seem in better form now.
There were rumours on the terraces at the time that Klindt asked to leave to go to ride for KL. Doubt Kerr asked to leave and he was very like by the fans. Giving Killeen more time on a bike helps the Cheetahs who look second best in the Championship after Poole or at least joint second with Scunthorpe.

Oxford at full strength for first time this season. Should be a good one.
Yes if Atkins fit after 28 days then he will have only rode at Redcar. After tomorrow Cheetahs don’t ride again until July 20 unless something is rearranged.
