To me after seeing both Somerset matches this week, as Dalediver said, Olly Allan's bike actually looked too fast for the track tonight, it's seems easy at OTA to just screw it on, but the Dale is more about reading the lines, and not about opening up. I bet Olly goes well tomorrow at Berwick where it is just gate and go!!.......although the Rebels will come up against some narrower corners, but with the Bandits having their 2 main men away......it should be close, maybe a 45-45 draw would suit our smugness.?

Having seen both this week it will be interesting to see who wins the battle of the gater.....or should it be gating tracks?

Should the League winners not be the best team over all the matches, and the play offs are for say the league Cup?.........always seems to be the logical way of most leagues, allthough play offs should be for promotion and religation.........instead of a cup. But we at the Dale cant complain, as I think we were involved in this stupid decision of having play offs, but I'm sure someone will correct me on this, if I'm wrong!!!

Unfortunately Cookie cant race in Polish/Swedish league due to having a high average, and it gives him too high a points average to get into a team.....or so i believe. Knew someone would pick up on this.....lol.....i was excluding the Ancroft years

Berwick is just a gaters track full stop, and always has been, even going back the 20 odd years I've been going there, and most if not all riders will tell you.......if they are being honest
