Bewdley was a surprise package, a bit early to be talking about world beater, 3rd ride did show have much further he has to go, could ave finished everybodys season there & then. Do look forward to seeing him again.
It wasn't that bad for a first meeting. Yes Stoke are not the strongest team in the league but, Birmingham will not lose at home this season.Stoke do have the ever youthful Tony Atkin & Ben Wilson to keep the scores closer away from loomer road.
The current system does sound a little floored. I keep hearing that the riders are paid for what they do on track, not the team? so what is an asset? If he gets injured he doesn't get paid & has to contact the ben fund. It does sound to me that this asset system needs to scrapped & let riders sign short term contracts with whoever they want.
They are a little bit older, a little bit wiser, nobody is going to fall out with anybody. Winning on a regular bases always brings people closer together
I predict that every meeting you turn up for will be against the same team you rode against last week or a different club but with the same riders in it
i don't know Lee but watched him working in the pits at Coventry a few seasons back as our number 8, working on bikes that were broken, lending his bike & pushing bikes. He worked harder than some of those in the the team & didn't get a ride. Solid chap.
