Lets hope that lessons have been learned from the problems at Belle Vue last season. Speedway in this country does not have much of a foot left to shoot at.
I read people keep asking when it is, I think the date is being held back while the league makes sure they know how many teams are in or out. For warned is, for armed,it is always better than an unexpected surprise.
I'm sure if you ask the junior riders the challenge of the older rider is to try & beat them & have something to aim for thus gauging how they are improving. If you start the season half a lap behind & finish it by beating that same older guy it is the best way to measure improvement. It also makes it worthwhile standing in the cold watching.
Don't belittle the NL as better than nothing, Give it time & over the coarse of a season watch young riders grow & develop. It can be just as good, just a little slower.
