Speedway is a summer sport, no one (especially the aging speedway fans) wants to stand around on cold and windy nights at the end of October (and even November last year). On the whole the summer are generally dryer and lighter and better conditions. Just because this summer was wet doesnt negate that.

We arrived into Chopin this year, but the flights from Luton are very expensive so looking at Modlin from Stansted. Works out cheaper even with a taxi ride once we are in Warsaw.

Teams can barely fit in all the fixtures now so god knows what will happen if they go to 2 home and 2 away, unless the cups and play offs are scrapped.

The only trouble with this is it totally makes the next season averages all over the place, you’ll potentially have reserves with higher averages than heatleaders. six or even five man teams is probably the way forward.

I think theres quite a big over reaction, you bascially have Zmarzlik, then another 7/8 riders top riders, and then probably the next 20 there isnt even that much in it. Gives the series a bit of a refresh and hopefully some of the new riders will take the experience on board and potentially crack the top 6 before the likes of Fricke, Magic etc. are back in for 2025. Also gives those riders a bit of a kick to actually push on and not rely on a wildcard pick.
