If you replace Verge and the unannounced final rider with Bowtell and Hampshire, which I suspect was the original plan, the team would have been nearly league winning in my opinion. Unfortunately this hasn't come off but with a final signing that can improve their average I suspect we will be there or there-abouts for the play-offs, subject to Connor Mountain returning from injury OK.

Peterborough Panthers 2015
fentigers lad replied to mudflaps's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The only other assumption would be that they need £40k to operate, in addition to the assumption that a main team sponsor would be found, hence the reason Readypower being prepared to step aside if another team sponsor could be found, then the Frost money would go towards the 40K. That would be the only logical explanation I can come to. Edited to add, sincerely hope Peterborough do line up in 2015, a great track that should not be allowed to be lost to the sport through mis-management. -
Have you looked at the rest of the make up of the Mildenhall team?

It will be interesting if/when the video of the exclusion is released. Only speculating, but if the video suggests Roynon was at fault then who should be blamed, the referee or Chris Louis? Edit - I should add that I haven't heard the radio evidence as I am at work and unable to listen, perhaps that will be more enlightening?

If Bates' points are removed, I have a feeling the promotion won't be too happy. Could be interesting when it comes to sorting play off dates assuming both teams make it. Would be a shame if Bates excellent performance is penalised due to paperwork but as 21stCH says rules are rules. I wonder what the response would have been if Bates scored 1 or 2?

I haven't checked the averages but how about Jon Armstrong??

I'd give her one. -
I wonder if Jan's machinery was a problem because he has been having a few niggling problems over here.

Seems Danny performs much better when Micheal Lee is there, for example British Final and Play Off semi, unfortunately he was at Mildenhall today not at the final.

Great reply there genius. Could not think of anything sensible to reply to my valid points, so go for a poor attempt at humour. Outstanding -

What a plank you are. Ben is 16 in March (get your facts right), and with him having limited Conference rides this season and the apparent lack of riders interested in the Under 15's this season, I cannot see the harm in him riding. It is within the rules and happened last season. The British speedway season began before Ben's 15th Birthday so what is the problem? The meeting also did a lot for Ben's Confidence with him putting in an improved home performance against Scunny then an excellent away meeting at Scunthorpe so what is your problem with him riding? -

With no disrespect to those riders involved, Team GB could be a lot stronger if you added in Bridger, Kennett and Boxall. -

Edward Jancarz Memorial Meeting
fentigers lad replied to iris123's topic in International World of Speedway
Thanks for your reply, so around £2000, the sort of prize money rarely offered in British Speedway, only at Testimonials etc. do we see prizes that are adequate e.g. GM engine a Jeremy Doncaster's Testimonial. -
Edward Jancarz Memorial Meeting

Anyone know the sort of prizes etc. that Polish Individual meetings offer? As this was a line-up that wouldn't disgrace a GP. Especially with Crump, Trick etc. -
British Gp Reserves Named
fentigers lad replied to Lioness's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I don't agree with the Kennett selection but could it be part of the prize for winning the British Under 21 title? If so then the selection is Justified. At the end of the day what is the likelihood of the 2nd reserve getting a ride? By the way, Steve Turner has come up with a quality idea, how about the Speedway Academy lot? -
I think that the future is quite bright, all 4 seeded riders and 2 Wildcards from the British Under 21 final made the World Semi's. Looks like Tommy Allen justified his inclusion as a wildcard, i cannot see that Danny Giffard would of made the final. By the way Mainman, pass on congrats to Chris Kerr who is turning into a real prospect, after the disappointment of recent young Americans in the UK, lets hope with your guidance he can be the next Bullet/Herbie/Sudden etc, maybe with Mildenhall next year???

James Wright would of scored as many as Danny King, after that as SCB said the best of our Under 21's were there.
