aye agree ,very sad news about jimmy tannock ,and te famous maroon/orange rugby strip he wore over his leathers.also remember at old meadow bank days edinburgh v shieffield tigers jimmy was edinburgh no 8 rider with no team place, but for some reason shieffield turned up with 6 riders ,so jimmy jumped into the sheffield team to make up the no.s did jimmy not rider the meeting of his life ,scored double points and edinburgh lost the meeting,im sure was in monarchs team the next week,happy memories

imho ive said for the last 2/3 years the way cook was riding for edin/mon and guesting in p.l he was one of the few who made speedway pay then plus his b.v. money .so having said that if he went b.v full time im sure his takings/money will fall big style but its only m/o,also was thro at ashfield on the first final leg, and some glas/fans said dont be surprised to see cook on a friday if glasgow go friday i toke this with a pinch of salt .but they seem very sure it could happen

i was at ashfield on fri ..on 4th bend with a lot of edin/mon fans but there were 2 femails edin support 1 was about 60 plus bit chubby reminded me of churchill ins advert with glasse s im sure ive seen her at admadale selling 50/50 raffles was she very rude to the glasgow fans.the other was a bit thinner with glasses dirty fair hair,also with glasses she was the worse of the 2 not very niceabout our west end cousins harkness seek them out then kick them out 2 women worse than football fans
