  1. Personally think it should have been a 5-1 Sad that after being in the play off places for a large part of the season, Lakeside are now out of the run in. Looks like 4th place is between Swindon and Eastbourne, too close to call
  2. Bet Victor now have Coventry and Poole as joint favourites now to win the league, with the odds on coventry shortening today Kings lynn are 3rd faves whilst Swindon are 4th and Eastbourne 5th
  3. wow what a unexpected result for the bees. Myself and my partner decided to go along tonight and really glad we did. Have to admit that when I saw the bees with only 5 riders on parade, I wasn't feeling very confident for them esp with A head leader missing and Max having not rode the track before. Thought it would be a huge ask for Sarjeant to be the only reserve against a strong King's Lynn team with one of the best reserves in the league. However how wrong was I. One of the loudest I have heard the crowd on my visits to Brandon this year. Huge credit to all 5 riders. a lot of team would have had their heads down after going down to 5 riders but not these lads. If anything it made them more determined. Congratulations to Bomber on a well deserved and hard fought for Maximum. I went to watch him at Poole last night and is in brilliant form. Bit worrying for King's Lynn but hopefully they can now regroup and find some form before the play offs
  4. Bees management think Wolves will now be before cut off date Big away win for Coventry Bees and a home win for Lakeside Hammers means more pressure for Eastbourne and Swindon again. One of the closest play offs we have had in a while at the closing stages of the season
  5. Really feel for King's Lynn as Iversen has been one of the best riders this team and King's Lynn have been the best team Really hope they still make the final
  6. Fricke rides Belle Vue well so good guest, a lot to expect him to be a heat leader though
  7. I wasn't there but have been a lot of posts from both sets of fans about it on twitter. the weather won't have helped.
  8. so after another week of racing with some interesting results and unfortunate injuries, the table looks like this: 1. King's Lynn (27) 61points 2. Poole (26) 55points 3. Eastbourne (25) 44points 4. Coventry (24) 44points 5. Swindon (28) 44points 6. Lakeside (29) 41points
  9. Think he wants to ride but his 2nd X-ray was not as good so going back to hospital again tomorrow once the swelling has hopefully gone down. Think it will be guests for Barker and Stefan
  10. always gonna be hard with only 2 heat leaders
  11. I do feel for Poole fans as they haven't caused this problem but yet it's their play off hopes it affects. It will be harder without Ward but I think if Pawlicki is back in time and they can get good guests then there's no reason Poole can't still lift this title.
  12. That's the sort of comment that I mean. Very childish and uncalled for. I think it's sad on this site that if somebody doesn't like another persons opinion then they are accused of being KKS That's the sort of comment that I mean. Very childish and uncalled for. 13. I'm finding the way you are singling out individual fans on here a little worrying. This group is meant to be to share our views and love for the sport, not personally attack people. Maybe we could all be a bit more mindful of each others feelings. I may be wrong but My understanding is that it was a case for MJJ of ride Mon instead of Swedish play offs or face a ban. Not sure in fairness that MJJ quit speedway, think more of nudged out. I really hope it pays off for the bees as been one of the best teams to watch. Lakeside have just done the same with Bech however, and has really not worked.
  14. Ouch, really poor replacement in my opinion. Barker is not a heat leader and think will really struggle. Really not sure what the bees management are thinking. Wouldn't it have been better to use Roynon against Belle Vue and then have MJJ for the others. I'm really shocked by this move. MJJ was a head leader whilst Barker more of a second string.
  15. Oh no, really bad decision in my opinion. Why would they do that?
  16. I honestly think Kings Lynn will stay top esp with Pooles current issues. Bjerre, Kerr & NKI looked very good against Swindon. (I may have missed it but out of interest are Rose or Blackbird likely to be back this season?) Remember when you visit Coventry, they now have no Garrity, Howarth and Hansen with Possibily no facility for the latter. Out of interest Star Fever, who do you think have the biggest chance of stopping your title bid?
  17. As a neutral I honestly can not predict who wi finish top 4 let alone win the league and that's what's making this years EL exciting. This is how it should be where there's no clear winner. Personally think a Poole Vs Bees final would be brilliant but who knows.
  18. lol. What about Robbo and Allen or is there PL/EL average too high? Kennett to be fair has looked ok when guesting for Poole
  19. Hate to say it but I think after tonight it is now a 3 way battle for the play offs. Lakeside started the season well and stayed in top 2 for a long while but this side is not looking strong enough. After the events of today, I personally think (and its just my opinion) King's Lynn and Coventry look favourites for the title if they can keep the form we have seen this season
  20. This track reminds me a lot of the one that Coventry raced against Swindon on at the beginning of the year I think with not many dates left, its a case of getting the meeting done as who know if it would have time to be rearranged at a later date with the cut off date so near. It's a shame as think this could have been close There are some riders really not looking up for it but do agree with posts of others about the concerns around Nathan. I know he's still very unexperienced and I'm all for teams nurturing their fast track riders but it does seem a lot of last places. Hopefully he will come good soon
  21. so we have FOUR teams all on 41points, one of the closest it has been in the race for the play offs for a while With 3 Home & 2 Away meetings left, Swindon still have a possible 17points to play for With 2 Home & 3 Away meetings left, Lakeside still have a possible 18points to play for With 2 Home & 6 Away meetings left, Eastbourne still have a possible 30points to play for With 6 Home & 5 Away meetings left, Coventry still have a possible 38points to play for (this is if all fixtures are completed)
  22. Depends also though what happens with regards to MJJ and if he gets a 28day ban for not riding for Coventry on Monday. The next couple of weeks could be exciting (and upsetting) for some. Lets hope the rain stays away so we can get a fair race with all teams completing their fixtures and riders staying injury free
  23. Poor King's Lynn talk about bad luck in heat 11 First Max man Bjerre packs up and is replaced by Kerr, Then Kerr packs up and then Rory crashes. Hope Rory is okay.
  24. I could be wrong but don't think EL get facilities no matter what the circumstances when involves the Polish or Swedish league
