With around 460k euros of goverment money. It helps... = ) This info from BSF. EDIT: Probably by me quoted from somewhere else. -
HI Phil! Since you'll be keeping rain with Kelvin tomorrow in Riga, ask him about this. About offset engines and silencers combined. I had other things on top of my mind when I had the chance.

Patryk Dudek Tests Positive For Banned Substance
f-s-p replied to lastword's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
That was later said to be not correct. If it actually is the "drug" that Sportowefakty has reported, it's on the WADA list and very illegal. EDIT: Regarding Ghosties post, those two women that had their "score" removed were runners with abnormal blood. Usually an indication of long time doping. I wont say abuse because they knew what they were doing, that cant be abuse. Dudeks sample was a stimulant. Could(!) have been just a one time thing or a mistake by someone else. I dont know if these things are judged differently by WADA, just my thoughts. -

Also worth adding that the "drug" in question is used under half a dozen different names and is rarely mentioned on the side of the bottle. This from the interview of the earlier mentioned Seppälä. Seppälä has been doing Finnish Antidoping for decades, and doesnt take things lightly, never seen him smile and he's always on tv when an athlete gives a positive sample. So I find that if and when he says it could have been an accident or contaminated legal supplement, there's a POSSIBILITY that Dudek just had loads of bad luck. -
Patryk Dudek Tests Positive For Banned Substance
f-s-p replied to lastword's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The found substance from Dudek is very common stimulant. In 2012 it was the most common stimulant to be found in doping tests. Also the same drug is what caused the german biathlonist SachenbauerSteele to fail her test in Sothsi. Timo Seppälä from Finnish Antidoping says that it's not that powerful, but in LARGE quantities it gives some benefit. Also used with cofein (while drinking coffee) it's a big risk with brains and heart. Also very common to get this substance from legit supplements, as they are manufactured on the same labs and conveyoers as the "illegal" ones. Cant see any reason why a speedway rider would benefit from it, though one Polish article mentions (via google trasnlation) "afterburner"... So maybe he's used it to keep control of his weight? Which seems to be non-excistent anyway, So basically, Dudek might walk free if he has a good enough story. -
Surprisingly for news from Poland you go to sportowefakty.pl/zuzel http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/459241/puchar-swiata-w-klasie-250-ccm-w-opolu-foto http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/459208/sandro-wasserman-najlepszy-w-pierwszym-dniu-pucharu-swiata-w-klasie-250-cc

Below whats it all about. Even the SEC fellow understood this, gave a good interview on sportowefakty. 070.4.4 Entries No entry fee may be charged. All entries must be made by the FMNs concerned to the FMNRs in writing on an entry form on which all information regarding the rider, passenger and team must be indicated. In respect of competitions for Individual riders, once an entry form is submitted and accepted by the FIM, no further entry form is required from the competitor for subsequent qualifications rounds, semi-finals, race offs or finals in the same competition. Entries must be made not later than 1 month before the meeting. If this is impossible, the entries must be sent by fax or e-mail immediately (not later than two working days) after receiving the results of the previous round. Provisional entries made by the rider's FMN by telefax or e-mail must be confirmed with the rider's signature on the official entry form immediately upon his arrival at the place of the meeting. Team entries must be made by the FMNs on a collective form. FMNs failing to send in entry forms, in accordance with the above, will lose their allocated place in that FIM Championship meeting. A rider or a team who refuses nomination by their FMN for a FIM Championship, Trophy, League or cup or, having accepted nomination refuses to take part, shall be deemed suspended internationally for a minimum period of one day before to three days after the meeting concerned. Furthermore, they shall be considered ineligible for all FIM Championships for the remainder of the season. The FIM and the CCP Bureau may also pronounce a fine between 10’000 and 100’000 Euros. -

Thats not nice. ... or true. I might be in the FMN camp for the time being, but thats not even near FIM.
-
Well... yeah... okay... It does say "four eligible", but not states which ones. So basically they can change it if they want to.
-
"This is a new competition for elite Speedway Club Teams. To qualify the team must be the reigning national champions of their respective Speedway Leagues, in the four eligible countries. Four teams, from four different nations, each consisting of five riders will contest the series over twenty heats. Each team will comprise of four counting riders plus one reserve. " Whats so open with that one?

It was perfectly clear and correct call to exlude Vaculik. Nicki did not turn left. He did not seek contact, he did not have to because Vaculik crossed his racing line. Nicki could have stayed up though IMO. That would have been stupid, also IMO. -
