  1. Fim rule is 5 years granted, then a visual inspection and in most cases its 2 years more. After seven its scrap. UNLESS theres a FMN rule that says its good for longer. Like in the UK, the first six years are given.
  2. Thats the standard age for an APD under FIM rules. BUT, as pointed by marek wojakzek to me esrlier this year, the polish system is a bit different. They have their own track officers doing the rounds and give "track stamps" for two years at a time. So basically it seems that the current apd has failed or is considered to fail in the inspection for 2015.
  3. They are riding speedway tonight at Hallstavik. Three weeks from now, ice racing quali. By the pics on twitter today, no such luck. 👻
  4. Antti Aakko out for the season. Still needs further surgery after last seasons spills.
  5. Great news for Wizzer! A good (and probably a paying) job to get to. But: What kind of news for SGP? Whats his role regarding tracks? Genuine and honest questions...
  6. I have to admit that I did not see this coming. Very good news that it's drawing a good/full crowd, but I thought being in Warsaw that would put a downer on it. Nice to be wrong at times.
  7. My mistake. I checked the top of the list as ACU is second after ACCR.

  9. By his own admission he did about 50 meetings this season. He just CANNOT have done more than 15 in Finland this year. In both his years on 500cc 4 tops in Estonia combined. EDIT: Estonian meets from3 to 4. Three Estonian Champs rounds and one Finnish KC meet. All at the Ranna track in Tallinn.
  10. Problems with LOCAL AUTHORITIES over track safety at the moment. Might run, maybe not, no info on that. Definately no FIM meetings since the calendar is ready. So NO PROBLEMS with any federations.
  11. According to the current rulebook every FMN can propose wild cards until four weeks before the GP. After that the final decision will be made by the sgp commission. So warsaw GP is five months away.
  12. It was explained on sportowefakty at one point. Along the lines that he rode 190+ points for the club and was only paid for the first 80 or so. Indeed, idiots at time. 100 points is almost /probably ten meeting after the money stopped coming.
  13. Having been told on October 25th that today is the day allocations and calendars are approved, I feel entitled to say that it has taken too long to proof read them.
  14. The mentioned money must involve something else as well. The legendary Koulukatu here in Tampere is also up for renewal, this will be the last winter they use the old machines. Two outdoor ice hockey rinks and said cost to renew them is between 700 000 - 1000 000 euros.
  15. Thats why I keep checking the thread... Someone that was actually in the same bar the night before must be bursting by now to spill the beans. I mean the rumours that have travelled to me are so good, that the reality must have been excellent entertainment for those sitting on the side...
  16. I would think all the bigwigs from BSI and FIM were there. The first time the meter showed any action, they had to make sure the procedure would not be kokked up. If they did kock it up, each FIM official should do the appropriate thing. It involves scissors and a license card. I've been confident so far that it was done by the book. Still am, and I have my reasons why I feel that way.
  17. The FIM officials who did not want to get their hands "dirty" by slapping the ban on the spot? Apparently only a week till the hearing... I'll give this miss another shot. Really difficult to stay away though... = )
  18. Tinkering (from experience, not dictionary) suggests slight modifications. Yet most probably the whole ft program will either get ditched, or stays the same. Just my opinion.
  19. I was making a point, you got me. Still sticking to that the ft heats dont look Elite to me. Better racing served over here.
  20. I've only watched some meetings from this years Elite and not even one in full. The fast track heats look awful. Kids on bikes too big in every way wiggling it around for four laps, if they make it that far. Thats Elite, isnt it. We have better racing in Finland. Good thing Kelvin and Nigel have been doing tv for 2 decades, they've turned pro's in talking turd as roses.
