See you're picking up fights to forfeit on this section as well.. Roadworks had bugger all to do with my disliking. First traffic lights after picking my rental from the airport saw a near miss with 30cm gap to my fender and another to the old lady walking the crossroads. There was an empty lane beside me and I guess the driver did not see the red light and just went trough... Luckily missed my car and the old lady, but that was the nearest I've ever been to an actual accident with my 22 years of driving. If you dont count the 2 times during the winter during my first day with a license that I drove off the road... Also the locals were quite brave, if there was a gap that fit a car on the motorway, it was enough and it was used. There must be more aggressive driving somewhere (Palermo/Sicily as a matter of fact) but combined with my Super insurance that was not as Super ( week gone and they still have my 1000€ deposit) I was just too nervous all the time. Have witnessed some German roadworks as well in the past. Actually missed the last tour of that certain Disney castle having driven 5hrs of a normally 3 hour drive once... Tourists, what can you do...

Not placing any bets but the plan I'm quoting says only 2 hours a week for kids 7-12 or so. In ice hockey where we really are pretty good still, they introduced this "everyone plays" and "no goals counted" crap sometime ago. Spoken to plenty of people that say it will kill the success of the top in the future. But ice hockey is so big and well scouted in Finland, that the best ones will keep coming through.

Västervik has been in the Allsvenskan for a few years now, before that they were a regular in Elitserien. I'd say during the past few years, no.

Also it needs a setup (as in team composition and amount of riders) that provides an actual cup. The way that it is moving forward at the moment is that in a handful of years it's a nominated 4TT oneoff final. Dont have answers yet how to fix it though.

Individually you ride for the country/FMN that has issued your FIM license, in teams you ride according to your passport. So in fact they can choose.

This is not a FIM matter, but with FMN level (nat feds). When any rider is given a FMN license having earlier ridden for another FMN, thats when the shlt hits the fan. So according to the info I have, in Schleins case the writing was on the walls several years ago, not during the past few months... I think it's pretty easy to correct the situation, but it needs someone to just do it and live with the crap it produces. On the other hand the way that speedway is and is going, rider availibility is a key on all levels of competition... EDIT: all this playing around with licenses has been created by leagues introducing rules on local riders. Like that you can only double up if of the leagues nationality and such... if someone had had the balls to say to the first rider/team that this is a no go, we would not be here with this.
