Too good, too pro(fessional). EDIT: Like you say, it can be done cheaper and would still fit the bill.

If a rider keeps gardening just before two minutes is up, its a choice to ignore the start marshall. So he’s earned an exclusion. Very simple.
-
Things cost. Best (highest) offer I had when I did some research years ago was over 2k€. The one at Hyvinkää last year was wireless with 4 digits and the height of one was about 15cm. It was way too pro for that use.

And it a stupid rule, isnt it as it does nothing towards solving the problem which is a 2-3 hour long 15 heats of speedway. The thing that it does is put Zagar and Dwarfar on an un-equal position when it comes to gating. We had a clock in Finland last season, it would have cost about 1400€ new. The ref wrote in his report that it did bring somesort of peace or similar to the proceedings and heats were on their way about 15 secs earlier. Thats about 3 mins off if you think about the problem that is the roughly 150 mins of a 15 heat meeting. If the ref would just put the clock on, exclude if necessary for going over the limit everything would be sorted in weeks. Would have been years ago. Refs are the problem, not riders.

So sitting on your bike 2 meters from the tapes until the clock shows "15 secs to go" is OK, but getting off your bike to dig your groove to be ready by "40 secs to go" is not?

Started going through the stuff "my men" have sent from the past weekends and got to thinking... Is Haarahiltunen really that good, or are the Russians becoming slower? Is it 50-50 or 70-30... ??? I've seen Haara twice, once this season and I think he's good. Did not know that he'd be as good as the standings show though.

10 suits a year is about 7k £. Someone said Swindon had 7 team sponsors. Thats 1k a logo. Is it that cheap to advertise on British tv? I helped a friend with his suit for a Swedish club. Copypasted logos on it before it went to print. Top half of the suit was off limits as it was sold by the team. Not doing team suits for a British Premiership club is just stupid and lazy. Someone already said that not only was it possible for the suits to pay for themselves, they could have paid for a commercial manager as well...

Thats a good laugh every year!
-
Smederna won it wearing team suits! and Rospiggarna the year before.

But is the actual suit any better nowadays? They do look better, but thats just an opinion.

Should have kept to JD with his coke and it would have been only a slap on the wrists... -

Jannick de Jong out for 4 years having tested positive for Amphetamine after a doping test carried out early last season. Seems he drank from the wrong Coke bottle at a student party. With google translate from Polish, this was his excuse with two of his friends testifying to this. -
Funny thing that the ice racing nordics has been cancelled 3 times in Övik of all places!
-
If there is any sort of text or rules that all teams should have team suits, any team without one should be fined 5k a meeting if they don't have one. What a stupid debate to have this one...

Speculation, not information. Euros. And honestly, for the very limited information I have over the past decade on rider sponsorship, I’m not that bothered about it. It most certainly can be correct, or even more. My point was that Bauhaus is putting money in to speedway, thats a good thing... -
There are plenty tickets for sale in viagogo for example... has been each time.

And its different being paid money to ride compared to receiving sponsorship. -

Bauhaus was their main sponsor last season, think they had Jonssons bike and kevlars all to themselves. I’m not talking about just sbp here.... -

Andreas Jonsson and Jacob Thorssel. Over 100k a year has been speculated. -
You’ll eat and drink like a king in Warsaw and still have some money left when back home.

They have the same reputation over here. But on the other hand the stuff they sell is usually the same as next door yet cheaper. And they are putting money in to speedway. So thank you Bauhaus! -
Whats all this crap about Jeppesen not riding in Denmark anymore and Hans Nielsen is mentioned?

Maybe you should skip the hand warmer then, Ian, or go Canon! U should just allow the lens to get to the temp it is outside. Then when you done for the day, put it in a plastic bag, seal it (if you have those moisture peas in a bag, put some in) and let it become room temp again. Going back and forth cold and warm creates moisture and makes the lens freeze. I know, it’s a choice between freezing your nuts or lens. Dutch people apparently can do both!

World Championship Pairs

Your last chapter is spot on. But the FIM are trying something with the 250cc training camps and such. They also had ice racing training camp but that was scrapped. So even if just a little, give them the credit they might deserve.
