  1. Was this from Doug's book of jokes or what?
  2. Actually you’re not welcomed as it stands.
  3. I think on the FIM server you can find rules from ten years back. I have no idea what the exact rule was in 1978.
  4. 2016 track racing technical rules clearly say only pure methanol can be used.
  5. A bit more than that, but apparently not big enough to create a bump on the carpet it was swept under...
  6. Riders have not cheated, you need to understand that. If there’s been cheating at all, its Anlas who has cheated FIM. How can you blame the riders for that?
  7. Tyres are homologated and receive a stamp that says they are as per the approved product. They are not tested since the stamp says they are good. Unless of course someone protests saying they are dodgy, like now has to have happened.
  8. To me it seems these top guys have a fantastics sense of living on the moment and moving on. They know they’ve given their best at that moment, thats it, next one in 20 mins or tomorrow. I’m not like that and dont know if to envy them or think their daft?
  9. Engines are not homologated. Tires, silencers, mudguards and APD’s are. It’s different. Homologated parts have stamps on them that say they are as per rules and they cant be altered. It’s a stamp that needs to be trusted.
  10. Exactly. It openly available, why not have it in stock at the back of your van.
  11. Its just another race, which is good, but you had to be in the top 4 to get the chance to ride that "just another race". It was perfect, every heat counts and the better you rode, the more chances you had to score points.
  12. You can only use FIM homologated tires in FIM meetings and Anlas tire is homologated. IT HAS TO BE.
  13. Every heat to be important towards the main goal, the title. Like it was last year. Someone will always want to win on the night. A rider not wanting to win don't mean the meeting won't be any good. If you really want to make every rider wanting to win every GP, double the winners prize money. The scoring was perfect, now its rubbish.
  14. Good well be, but since all riders were selected by FIM & associated, not 100% sure that a FMN can just change their rider, even with injury.
  15. Timi Salonen has been named to ride, but like Muumipappa says, serious doubts of him travelling with latest covid rules.
