He's been as good as ever, best points scorer in the Finnish league this season and made Timo Lahti look like a novice a couple of times. Put on a decent show for Rospiggarna as well. Show him the money, he'll be there. Almost was too late this season.

Well it was news to me. Next step for Svemo is to give Anders two weeks pay and make him upload all the stuff that was on speedwayresultat.com back online.

I stepped on a link on the svemo site, good old speedway.nu has been (sort of) put back online. HERE

The conferences were held yesterday at Tampere. There will be a four team league again with Keittiöpiste out and Jokerit in, Haukat turns to Paholaishaukat and will ride in Pori. KC will welcome an Estonian team. Also came up that Joonas Kylmäkorpi will ride in the new flattrack WC series for an Italian team, the name of the team is supposed to be unveiled in Italy this? weekend at shome big show. Also the FT series will start from Forssa on the sunday after the LT opener.

I heard about this today. SML/Finland did not enter, because our team has no chance of success, good enough anyway according to federation bigwigs. The finance's dont even matter in this case and no possibility was given to enter, even though the board was approached with a letter explaining what speedway actually is. It's a joke and the more you think about it the more iditioc the whole thing comes. But since I'm almost in the middle of that pile of crap, guess it's better to say nothing else. For now... -
I checked the final standings yesterday, MJJ's title could haveb een called after the first final earlier in the season. MJJ won on 12 and Magic one point behind... Thats with a touch of propaganda... EDIT: I was looking for a good MJJ pic also yesterday, had a few good and recent ones but they were all missing parts of the riders... Overeager cropper!

Think it's been ice racing in the FIM books since the beginning. Then this one dude was made responsible of it and he turned it into shi... ice speedway. He's very popular "in the field" at the moment with the way FIM has changed the WC formula. EDIT: I was also looking for Swedish results today and noticed them all gone. Thank you for the link (if it works)!

Providing his machinery keeps it together, he only has to work in heat 11 when he meets Masters and Janowski both. If he's even tied after that with Magic, it's his to give away. The other danes know whats going on. If they dont know by now, they will and if they dont get the picture, someone else will ride in the quali's next year. This fat?

That depends where you want to drink it naturally. Two beers were 300 korunas on the Old Town square two weeks ago, thats about 13 euros. Billa is naturally cheaper... -

This rule was changed a couple of years ago, so that Great Britain would be seen in the final. The race off and final were scheduled at that time to be ridden at the new Belle Vue. -
A lot of sense in that post. Apart from the fact that any opening round (SGP excluded ) happens in the middle of the European season (June/July) and this time the bikes have been shipped already for them to be there. So for any rider to have two bikes in a container at sea for a month in July is probably out of the question.

Thats's exactly whats happening! And at the moment it's looking more like the "end of" than a fresh start/new beginning. Thats just my view though, one that I have no problems of declaring and explaining. = ) Ice racing will announce some major revamps in their WC in a short while and it's been discussed that places in the qualifiers for SGP has been cut from 70? To 50? Next year. Is this the right route the get new people to the sport: more expensive finals and less chances for riders to get in to them? Thats a genuine question...
