  1. Musikalischen talent... Understood that bit.
  2. I'm laughing so hard I think I lost my sleep for tonight...
  3. buczko withdrawing is new info since late august, a bit like the fact that FIM did it by the book and FMNR's are to blame. Is this info correct or just assumed?
  4. it was changed this year, six announced previously, only three for 2014.
  5. you are wrong in the sense that tg took the wildcard, rider lineup was announced (the deadline) and after that he said no more...
  6. Ilkka Teromaa told me last summer how they burned their arsses when falling in the 70's wearing leather suit. Cant see how RETURNING to leather would solve anything. They need something new between the skin and suit.
  7. There will be no rule change for FIM 2014 regarding suits. But they are making checks to get rid of nylon suits since it's never been allowed anyway in FIM events. It was never about re introducing leather. This info from someone who was present at a meeting between the FIM and most of the manufacturers.
  8. it says along the lines that once the lineup is announced and someone retires, the substitute list come to play and bomber is first in line. As I see it, the lineup means the 8+3+4 riders for 2014. Not just the top 8 from 2013.
  9. My quote isn't working, so Dutch and PZ: It's clearly in the 2013 rules that Harris will replace Gollob for 2014. But the rules for 2014 are not yet published. Now if lets say Emil starts playing dirty having signed his SGP entry form and refuses to ride, the FIM (with some flexing of rule 077.3.3., paragraphs 4 and 5) has the power to ban him at all tracks during GP weekends...
  10. 8. They lose their FIM homologation stamp after 5 years of use. After an inspection they can be given two years more. After seven years it's for the bin.
  11. I cant point the finger to Emil in this case, since he actually is a World Champion and has most likely done things for other benefits than money, but the growing feeling is that it's all about the money. Even if you dont have anything on offer really, other than a second hand bike/kevlars/covers and dirty boots, you should get paid to ride.
  12. Phil... You have any idea what kind of clause the form has regarding withdrawl from the series? Asking since Emil is/has been (said) thinking about it? I mean it's only 200k more from Nice added to his Tirun contract and he'd actually probably be better without SGP. Just a thought.
  13. The deadline for the Swedish teams ends this week, then there's a chance of a foreign team to enter if the fixtures allow it. 1st division is said to be run on weekends next summer with SWC format.
  14. Actually an italian is still the ccp president... And to take some said things back, the current ccp secretary seems on the ball and doing his job.
  15. In Finland its called kilpailulupa and translates to a permission to stage a meeting under the said federation. That includes insurance to the crowd and and other stuff, what we said above. If I was BSI I would not go to Russia either. It's been covered on this forum, that the border control cant be controlled by the goverment and they've been asking for paperwiork thats not needed. Kai Lehtinen was denied access for a ice racing EC final a few years ago and one of the Danes had to leave his bike at the border for the u21 team final a couple of years back. These happened at two border controls, how many are there... The Sgp inscription fee... You ask what you can get and like said before, kosonen and co didnt have to enter anykind of bidding war, the gorzow people most definately had to.
  16. I'm sure enough to say that this inscription fee outside SGP in gp qualis for example includes insurance for the crowd, cost for the jury chairman and the ref. Does not include prize money. SGP I dont know, but this inscription fee is now almost clear... = )
  17. this inscription fee?? Is it sort of like a meeting license or what? Organizer pay's it to get a right to organize the said meeting and with that you get insurance coverage and stuff like that? Asking because i'm uncertain what it means.
  18. All that Koskenkorva is waiting for you to come and try my sauna... Cant even imagine (dont want to experience) how one would feel drinking Kossu in sauna...
  19. I'm ever so grateful that speedway is now introduced to us Finnish people... EDIT: Video from Hautamäki's helmet cam EDIT2: Kylmäkorpi had found the stadion after I left, another video at their facebook site. EDIT3: According to the grapevine, they've been given the permission to widen the track at Ratina by a metre or two. Thats excellent news!
  20. They had a a few riders training at the track tonight. Juha Hautamäki, Nike Lunna and Joni Keskinen were riding. Kylmä was supposed to be there but wasnt. It's been raining for a while and the track was pretty soft, so they didnt/couldnt ride flat out. Hautamäki said it was a bit narrow, but the shape was pretty ok. Its basically your running track, theyve taken it out in the bends but the inside line is that of the running track. It's 14 meters wide in the middle of the bend, 10 meters going in/ coming out (I was told by one of the crew) The material is "homemade" and the chatacteristics of it sounded good, just that they were not to be seen today cos of the rain. They are not covering it at all for the winter. There are plans to have a winter park (another promoter) at the stadium with skiing, ice hockey, snowboarding and stuff like that during the winter. The gravel in the middle in some pics will host an ice hockey match this december between the two local teams in the national champs league.
