Congratulations Sam....

Steve your'e talking out your ass. It's very easy to say "should have said this, should have done that". Not so easy to stand in front of 40,00 people with a mic in hand. Sam you were brilliant. -

Shame theres only one good band amongst that lot Real entertainers: In Flames, The Haunted, Decapitated, Killswitch Engage, Fear Factory, Machine Head Frankly, I'm quite glad I can't go this year. Suspect that these bands are all "headbangers" -

do you know if the new Jason Crump caps will be on sale and on which stall would I need to visit to buy one? Is this the #2 "guaranteed for life" cap? -

Shale?? Hope that they put a bit of banking on the turns this year or it will be a procession again. I must say that the racing at Cardiff is usually pretty boring. -

Tough call this one, easier to call the first 4 to be eliminated. 1. Floppy. 2.Chris Louis. 3.Ales Drymyl. 4.Lukas Drymyl. -

Hope Matej Ferjan wins the meeting, then he can give the " finger" to the authorities who crapped on him. "Ferjan mogoče!" Whatever this means I think that I'm in favour of it.

British Wildcards for Cardiff
pugwash replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Difference is, Poles have a hatfull of riders who are up to G.P standard. If we do have to have 2 brit wildcards, Middlo should only consider the riders who bothered to try and qualify in the last qualifiers. If you couldn't be arsed to qualify, why should you be given a wildcard entry? -
The story of the 1st GP ?
pugwash replied to gillam's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nicki's nasal activities did not go unnoticed, neither did his wiping the sweat of his armpits and immediately using the same object over his face and head yuk. Personal hygiene obviously not very important when your under pressure. I'd forgotten about that bit Addy but it did look funny. Snot on slagging off the World Tramp. Whats the odds at the next G.P he's seen extracting a bogie. Pass the salt & pepper mate! -
The story of the 1st GP ?
pugwash replied to gillam's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Good G.P. Probably the best one day track that we've had. Congrats to BSI. Lots of really exciting racing, with the 4 CLASS ACTS in world speedway making the final. Well done Mr Adams, very clever riding. Top man. As far as the ref is concerned, Shovlar is spot on. All the pro's agreed with Mr Steele, so don't get misled by that gobin Millard. Speaking of gobbin', what was that disgusting little man doing ?? Ugh. World Champ! more like World Tramp. He needs to get sponsored by Kleenex or have some of those green screens fitted around his pit area so that we can't witness his neanderthal personal habits, not to mention tantrums. No tantrums from Crumpy though. I thought that he had different attitude altogther, more relaxed, almost likeable. If he sticks with that style he will definately win the title. The crowd did look a bit thin on the ground, possibly a repercussion from that last cock-up in Sweden? -

See fixtures on Mateusz web site http://www.speedway-poland.tapesup.co.uk/l...e-fixtures.html Change of plans for me. My wife and I are staying in Poland for another week, taking in the Tarnow-Wroclaw meeting and staying in Zakopane for a few days. We've got G.P seats in sector 22-23, and are the ones with the Pirates flag. Call by for a prawn sandwich. -

Hey Hutchie Have been to Bydgoszcz for the last 4 years so hope I can help. Will definitely be going back there this year. I've always flown into Warsaw as it's worth a visit en route. Hotels a plenty, however they aren't overly cheap. Have considered going via Berlin previously but just always ended up going via Warsaw. I am waiting on Air Polonia releasing their summer schedules and hopefully be able to fly for a decent price. Lot seem reasonably priced at the moment as well if you want to book up well in advance. A train to Bydgoszcz is our usual mode of transport which takes around 4-5 hours depending on the train you get. You can buy tickets from a German website in advance, but we're confident enough about buying ours once in Poland (we've found that there is an English speaking ticket agent in Warsaw airport). For the extra cost first class is well worth it. As for hotels in the town we are booked into the Pod Orlem which is a lovely hotel. Not quite as modern as the City, however I've always found the City difficult to book. One year we had to wait till the last minute but the Pod Orlem came up with the goods just when we had visions of sleeping on the street. First year we went we stayed in the Ratuschowy, which was much cheaper but nowhere near as nice as the Pod Orlem. Depends on your budget / preference. Then the GP - atmosphere is always amazing and it might be something different this year after Tomasz's defection - I'm sure the locals will still be right behind him though. Keep an eye on the SGP site and you can book tickets in advance. Hope the above helps. If you need anything more specific give me a shout. Rico RICO. I am going to try the Warsaw-Bydgoszcz rail connection this year. Have you any approx idea of train times and is there a return train Byd- Warsaw on sunday?
