If travelling to Tarnow from Wroclaw (220 miles) allow plenty of time. Approx 4 - 5 hours by car depending on if the motorway section around Katowice has been completed yet. If it isn't complete it's a total nightmare, about 1.5 hours to get from Gliwice to Katowice, 20 miles! and the road from Cracow to Tarnow is equally as slow. There's a rail connection but I don't know about connecting times etc.

For anyone kicking their heels on Friday and looking for a bargain try Media Markt on the top floor of Galeria Dominikañska shopping mall in between the Radisson and the square. Laptops for less than £400, most computer / elec stuff +cds, dvds etc at half UK prices.

We're staying at the HP Park, sitting in the stand, drinking lots, meeting up with anybody that will drink with us in the square, supporting Team Polska and going to Leszno. Kaj looks to be head and shoulders above the rest. 6 rides, 6 wins, average time 62.92. The other A finalist seemed to be pretty consistant though, only dropped a handfull of points between them.

Think that Matej Ferjan should be the wildcard. He can pick up an Italian passport no problem.

Why does the wild card need to be Italian, the opportunity should go to a form man, someone who will probably be seconded into the G.P proper next year. If they do it increase the gate then give the wildcard to Luciano Pavarotti.

Assuming that the championship does not return to a one off final. which so long as BSI have control it wont. Then for the next 5 years the Champion is unlikely to come from outside Trick, Crumpy, Nicki. For the following 5 years you would expect contenders to be showing some sort of class now, so, mix in the young guns :- Jarek, Hans, Antonnio, Kasper, Bjerre, Lindgren. After that who knows. With some serious sponsorship behind him and if he stays away from the beer, stick Eddie Kennett in with the young guns.
