I can recommend one NOT to stay in ; The Novotel, Sopot. Total crap.

Looks impressive, certainly if floodlights are being added it could feature as a G.P venue but don't know if the Town itself is up to much, regarding Hotel accomodation, night life etc. Nearest airports appear to be Cracow and Katowice where as the existing venues Bydgoszcz and Wroclaw are serviced by their own airports. I for one wouldn't want to drop one of them for this venue. Maybe BSI will give it a go in the SWC.

Can't see the point of visiting a beautifull country like Slovenia and staying at a holiday camp. Stay in Ljubjiana or Maribor and appreciate the marvellous country that Slovenia is

For the Elite League:- A proper squad system so we can get rid of guests, R/R and that stupid absent rider rule. A decent points limit that would enable promoters to build an Elite team of riders, not 3 or four with the rest made up of chancers.

Works out pretty much the same but for a few positions, so guess that the system is fair. I think that with the exception of Jarek Hampel the riders final official positions are a fair judgement to their performances. As we all are aware Jarek would have probably been top 6 but for his injuries. Still on reviewing this years GP series I have to admit that on reflection the old system of eliminators every 4 heats was more exciting. This series has been a bit a drag as the tension doesn't start until heat 17 or so.

My understanding of the matter is that BSI have booked the Millenium Stadium for the 2nd SATURDAY IN JUNE for the next umpteen years. So thats the date.

Was going Dover- Calais, Eindhoven, Berlin, Bydgoszcz but now unfortunately I have had to cancel due to builder starting work on my roof a week early. I now only have half a roof and need to be at home whilst work is carried out. Couldn't put the roofer off or likely wouldn't see him for months. Hope that everyone has a great time in our absence and have a great birthday Sharon.

Hazzman don't worry. There are no borders any more it's all Europe. If you're going by road then the only real border crossing that is in operation is Germany / Poland. France, Belgium, Holland and Germany don't actually have frontier posts any more it's just one big country, only the language changes. At the German / Poland frontier post there's no real formality these days, thankfully, hence the huge queues have disappeared.

Excellent, will certainly look forward to visiting this venue in the near future.
